About Jennifer Green
Watersedge is a very special place for our family as my sisters and me spent all our holidays playing in boats, Swallows and Amazon style, then my children and my sisters children have all had such fun learning to sail and row, canoe and kayak . We are on the 4th generation now..
Jennifer Green purchased this House in 1960
Why Jennifer Green chose Broadland
This beautiful cottage was brought by my Grandfather to have our holidays in. I have loved this spot and my children have grown up playing water fights in the dyke and learning to sail and row. They are all good sailors now and enjoy canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, whenever they get a chance. The cottage offers peace and quiet if that's what you are looking for or lots of fun with family, friends or groups of people to do lots fun activities. There are 2 lovely pubs in walking distance or rowing distance. This is a holiday you will never forget..
What makes this House unique
It is a wonderful magical place where you will want to return to many times. It is full of character and has the most amazing views, you can see the activity on the broad from the comfort of the house or garden. There is lots to see and do but it is also a wonderful place to re-charge you batteries and just chill.

Watersedge sits on the edge of Hickling Broad, it is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the broad. It has a private jetty and rowing boat for visitors to use.Fishing, sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding, motor launches can be hired from Wispering Reads. Wind surfing is big on Hickling broad even if you don't have a go it is great to watch from your own sitting room in the dry. There is a nature reserve, a sailing club, lots of fabulous walks. It is fun to cycle as it is so flat. The beach is a 10 minutes by car and is beautifully sandy and has a colony of Seals. There is a museum of the broad lots of gardens to visit. Blickling Hall is close by. So lots to do for everyone. a Quiet weekend or a full on action packed week Watersedge is perfect.
