Your escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life is only a ferry ride away.
The property is located on a high bank over San Juan Channel, near the Shark Reef Sanctuary and features gorgeous views of surrounding islands and the sound. Over 8 acres of kid friendly woods and field. The house's new porches and decks highlight the incredible water and island views and the beautiful sunsets.
This house was designed as place for family house parties... a place to hang out with family and friends.
Two bedrooms with King size beds offer privacy and comfort. The rest of the crew sleeps in full size double beds, with trundles in the open loft.
There are two large, elegant bathrooms and a powder room. One bath has a 6' Riverbath jetted tub and a shower. The other is the size of a nice reading room.
The chef's kitchen is well equipped including new appliances, granite counters, slate floors, sharp knives, plenty of pots and pans, dishes for any kind of meals, and a peninsula for casual dining.

Ex chef, restauranteur, acupuncturist, jack of many trades. I designed and built this house as a place to gather friends and family together.
Josh Keeler purchased this house in 1990
Getting off the ferry on Lopez Island, I get the feeling that the pace of life changes. Projects and issues that are pressing seem to drop into perspective.
I bought this particular piece of property for the sunsets. I never tire of the view.
Fabulous view of SanJuan Channel and San Juan Island. Some vier of The olympic mountains.
Porch wraps around front and side of the house, for lounging, or dining.
Trails through the woods for exploration some lead to the swimming pond.
Flat lawn for croquet, bocci, volleyball badminton etc.
Open floor plan and large kitchen eating counter, makes for plenty of dining options.
This is not a place to come and hide from your friends and family, the open loft and floor plan encourage interacting and being together.
Private hammock views of the water and wildlife.
Pingpong and pool tables in the garage.
Terrific amenities and a breathtaking view. For a party of 10, it was truly paradise. My mom is currently wheelchair-bound and the house was well-accessible. We had a lot of good times there.
This electronic review is a bit late because we signed the actually guest book before we left the house. I went with my highschool friends for our annual reunion - out of all the houses we have stayed at in the past years, this house was the most welcoming and well equipped! On top of being situated on a cozy and carefree island, the house had so many outdoor toys ready for us (bikes, short distance zip-line, volleyball, soccer, ect ect). The kitchen was very clean and organized, the rooms were well made and the washrooms were well equipped with extra towels. There was a guide to the island as well as recommendations for island activities. Excellent hospitality provided by the owners - thank you! We would love to go back and would definitely recommend this to others!
This house was absolutely perfect for our very large, active family and felt like home from the moment we arrived. Just the right amount of space inside, on the porch, and in the yard so that we felt connected but never crowded. The owners take great care of their home and anticipate every need. They have thoughtfully placed quality amenities everywhere: hairdryer & curling iron, lots of fun complete board games, crisp 100% cotton sheets, olive oil, spices, tea, coffee, serving dishes, quality cookware, sunscreen, yard games, bikes, trail markers, art supplies, kids toys, and a very handy book that tells you where everything is located. The house has absolutely everything you'll need - honestly - except your family and their clothes.
Wait to food shop until you arrive, the island has delicious local organic produce, seafood, meats, and dairy. The stores are very reasonably priced, and Lopez Village is a fun exploration. I wish we would have shopped the large Farmer's Market for fresh produce, meats & flowers on our way in, not out! The Farmer's market is open from 10 - 2 on Saturdays near the Village.
At the house, make sure to explore the hammock, the sleeping tent, the pond, the beach, the hot tub.
Play Yacht Race (our family's new favorite).
Around the island, make sure to: take a trek down the road to Shark Reef Sanctuary at low tide, get pastries from Holly B's and coffee next door, find Center Church and the cemetary, visit Agate Beach, Visit Spencer Spit.
Few things to mention: bring an iHome or a 1/8 to 1/8 jack for your iPod, as they don't have one. Also, if several of you want to bike together, you'll need to bring or rent a few bikes, they have 4 teen+ size and 2 kid size.
We absolutely loved our time here, everyone from young kids to 80+ year old grandpas had a great time and want to return year after year.
Thanks for helping to make our week together unforgettable! The Anderson and Green families
We had an amazing weekend at this home on Lopez Island. The house had every item we could have needed. My family enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, front porch swings, and the incredible peacefulness and views. While on the island our family fished, biked, and just enjoyed being together in a beautiful, comfortable setting. What a little piece of heaven! We regretted that we didn't have more time to be there and enjoy it all.
My family had a delightful vacation at this spacious Lopez Island home. What a magnificent setting. Beautiful water views from all directions. If you're looking for a peaceful get-away, this is what the doctor ordered!
We had an outstanding family reunion in this spacious house that is very kid friendly. A great place to experience the friendly rural island life of Lopez. Highly recommend this vacation home for large families with children!
