|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Nicely decorated with antique and contemporary art and furniture, suitable for 3/5 persons, third floor (with elevator) of a charming 1928 small luxury building, surrounded by trees and gardens, in one of Rome's best neighborhoods. It has one small room with a twin size bed, a master bedroom with a king size bed, a lovely living room with two full size sofa-beds, separated kitchen and a bathroom with shower.
Amenities include air con, heating, SAT flat screen TV, DVD, Radio/CD, iron and board, dishwasher, washer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, tea kettle, wifi and cable internet connection. Kitchen is fully equipped. Linens and towels are provided.
The only sound you will hear at night is a distant fountain and you will wake up with birds singing in the morning.
The area is world famous for its ancient village-like streets and it is full of traditional restaurants, bars and pubs. It is itself one of the city attractions.
The apartment is at walking distance from all the most popular sites and it is very well serviced by public transportation. Within a five minutes walk you will find 4 supermarkets, many food stores, a big wine shop, an organic food store and an open air market. The exact location is via Filippo Casini.
The street is part of the centre but it is definetely out of the noise and the caos, yet it is only five minutes away from the lively and interesting medieval neighborhood of Trastevere and a 15 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The street is exclusive, residential and very green, it is also very peaceful and the building, which hosts only 8 apartments, was designed by a famous architect in 1928.
This apartment welcomes the guests with a tasteful decoration, nice views over private gardens with palm trees and a touch of luxury. It is kept very clean, it is bright, confortable and quiet.

Trastevere was the perfect location for visiting Rome. Far enough from the major tourist areas but close enough to take the bus or walk. The neighborhood had everything we needed - shops, restaurants, and open markets. The apartment was very spacious for my 2 (older) children and myself. On one of our three nights we cooked dinner in the small kitchen and there was espresso left for us to make in the mornings. Paolo was helpful and answered all of our questions. He also called a cab for us to get to the train station on our last day. Overall a very nice experience.
Paolo's apartment is spacious, light, comfortable and quiet- everything you could ask for in a well located base for visiting the Eternal City. Paolo was welcoming and very helpful with advice on restaurants, shops and public transport and taxis. We stayed as a couple, at the end of a long holiday in Italy and welcomed all the amenities as shown in the description-especially the washing machine.
We had no difficulty seeing all the sights either by walking or taking the tram or bus which are very close to the apartment.
Comfortable, clean and convenient property which was honestly presented on the website. Initial concerns about the size of the second bedroom and the shower and the minimal availability of cupboard space were soon negated by the overall presentation of the property and the location.
Location, location.....and the one is great on a very quiet street in Trastevere overlooking a garden at the back of the building. Paolo was efficient in responding to the booking request, helpful before arrival answering a question about transportation, flexible in setting up the arrival time, and gracious in answering some tourist questions when he greeted us at the apartment. The apartment is tastefully decorated, large, clean, and has very comfortable beds. It is an easy walk of 5 min to public transportation, restaurants, outdoor market and grocery markets. Thank you Paolo!
Great apartment for "base camp" for Rome. Quaint/quiet neighborhood away from tourists but close to metro, buses, or walking to explore Rome. Carmen, met us at apartment and provided very helpful local information. Apartment was historic in nature, very clean and safe. Nicely decorated and good WiFi. AC hard to cool apartment in 90+F weather. In retrospect, wish I spent more time exploring Trastevere neighborhood then trying to see many parts of Rome. It is full of art and wonderful restaurants and coffee shops!
This was a great apartment close to everything and if not there was transit and trains going everywhere! The hosts were full I of information and I felt that if I needed anything they would be there to help! Thanks again for a great stay!!
