Why Paolo chose Trastevere

The street is part of the centre but it is definetely out of the noise and the caos, yet it is only five minutes away from the lively and interesting medieval neighborhood of Trastevere and a 15 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The street is exclusive, residential and very green, it is also very peaceful and the building, which hosts only 8 apartments, was designed by a famous architect in 1928.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment welcomes the guests with a tasteful decoration, nice views over private gardens with palm trees and a touch of luxury. It is kept very clean, it is bright, confortable and quiet.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with our lovely apartment in Trastevere . It was comfortable and spacious. The view into the courtyard was gorgeous. We were able to get to all the sights of the city with transportion only two blocks away. We would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Rome, but looking for a quiet place to retreat at the end of the day.

Lovely Apartment in Trastevere

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a nine day stay in this beautiful apartment. It is two flights up a marble stairway, comfortable, spacious, and quiet, and was just what we were hoping for. The sheets were ironed, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable, and everything was meticulously clean. Paolo greeted us when we arrived, and gave us his cell # in case we needed anything. We enjoyed nine days of non-stop touring of many historical sights of Rome, and were always glad to come home to this apartment at the end of the day. We enjoyed exploring Trastevere's winding roads, many shops and restaurants, and charming ambiance. We felt "Blue Ice" in Trastevere had the best gelato in town! And Paolo's recommendation of the nearby bar (small restaurant) was excellent - meals and salads were only six euros, and we had two delicious lunches there. Some of the highlights of our trip were our visits to the Galleria Borghese, Colosseum and Forum, Ostia Antiga (30 min train ride), the castle in the lakeside town of Bracciano (one hour train ride), the Vatican Museum, National Gallery, Trevi Fountain, Victor Emanuel Monument, the Pantheon, and many churches. The transit system was easy to learn, and we loved how nearby this apartment was to the tram line. We loved this visit to Italy so much that we are now planning our second trip, most likely to the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, and some other towns. Thank you, Paolo, for helping to make this visit so great!

A couple of side notes: The washing machine worked very well. Paulo had a large drying rack we used (since many homes in Rome, including this one, do not have clothes dryers). The shower is as small as it looks in the pictures (2' x 2'), but was a minor inconvenience, and worked fine for us. All-in-all, we would give this apartment a solid 10 out of 10!

Quiet corner in Roma

  • 5 of 5

This gem is tucked away in Trastavere. Less crowd, more quiet and charming strolls for anything you wish. The elevator was so welcome for the suitcases. Excellent communication and instructions as well as scheduling a taxi for our departure. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Well equipped, comfortable and central to all Rome has to offer.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is perfect for a stay in Rome. During our stay in the high temperatures of July it was a haven of coolness to come back to during sightseeing. It was only a few tram stops from the major tourist attractions yet it was set in an amazingly quiet oasis in the trendy Trastevere area. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and churches the apartment was only a few tram stops from Trastevere station to where we got the 35 minute train from Fiumincino. The air conditioning was a god send in escaping the city heat. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Great host, great property.

  • 5 of 5

The property is very conveniently located for getting around Rome, yet in a quiet, leafy-green neighbourhood. Paolo is a true professional, with excellent communication and service. Every question we had after the brief walk-though was answered on the fact sheet left for us on the table. The pictures Paolo has posted are exactly as the property presents in person.

This is a particularly good place for the hot days in summer, as it has many large windows and good airflow, but also air-con in the main sitting room if you feel you need it.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and we'd love to have a chance to stay again.
