Guests are advised that the 2 parking spaces and garage at the house are accessed via an archway onto the quayside that is 2.2 metres (7 ft 3 ins) wide at mirror height and 2.05 metres (6 ft 9 ins) wide at tyre height. Access through the arch is made more difficult by scaffolding erected around a property undergoing renovation opposite the arch until mid-July. While experienced drivers have negotiated large vehicles through the arch, less confident drivers may find this to be a challenge, in which case a 7 day ticket for the nearby Dell public car park can be purchased for £41.30. The property benefits from being in a prime location in the heart of Falmouth and is perched on the harbour, with stunning views out to sea. Nightingale House and Mews is a 15-20 minute walk from the Blue Flag Gyllyngvase Beach, a crescent shaped white stretch of sand, ideal for family bathing and watersports.
