Description

Fort William Cabin Rental Photos and Description

We have three lovely pods, Thisltle, Oak and Saltire. Each pod is ensuite

Clovullin is a small village on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and offers a great spot to explore the west coast of Scotland. We are only 8 miles across the loch from Ben Nevis and Fort William, the outdoor capital of Scotland.

Whether you want to experience hill walking, mountain biking, kayaking, archery, fishing, seal watching, bush craft skills or you just want to sit and soak up the beautiful scenery, our pods provide a wonderful base for all.

Our pods are sited on croft land with wonderful views across the Appin Mountains and Loch Linnie. Each pod sleeps either 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Ensuite shower and toilet.

The village has a small shop for all your supplies and the local pub/hotel is a short walk through the village.

BEDDING NOT INCLUDED - Please Specifically request bedding in your message, if you do so require. We can supply Double or single sleeping bags with pillow and towels if requested.

Suitability:

About Izzy Valenti or John Mac Kay

Hi my name is Izzy and I currently live part of the month is Scotland and part of each month in London. I currently run my own training and consultancy business and as I am reaching my retirement, I have diversified a bit into holiday lets with my neighbours in Scotland.

I grew up in Scotland and moved to London about 35 years ago. My heart truly is in the highlands and when you visit us you will see why.

Izzy Valenti or John Mac Kay purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Izzy Valenti or John Mac Kay chose Fort William & Lochaber

I have holidayed in the highlands for the past 30 years and my children know and love the area almost as much as I do.

The Argour area is stunningly beautiful and offers holiday makers an amazing amount of activities. If however you just need some time out from a busy existence then it offers tranquillity in the bucketful.

When my children were small, we walked them up and down the mountains, sat for hours together watching the amazing wildlife and enjoying the local hospitality.

What makes this cabin unique

The area speaks for itself. the views, the walks , the wildlife, the variety of birds, the seals, the dolphins the activities on your door step. Truly lovely.

Remote, serene and lovely

  • 5 of 5

The pods are in great shape and and scenery is magnificent.

They offer a perfect base for long hikes and other adventures.

If you revel in nature and relative solitude, this place is ideal.

Highly satisfied, highly recommended.

Property was exactly as advertised and was very comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

The property was ideal for our needs. We used it as a base to go out walking and explore a part of the country we had never been to before.

Everyone we met in the local shop was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Owner's Response: Hello, I am afraid you have never stayed in one of our pods so I feel it is unacceptable to post a review on this site. I would ask that you remove it please. Our pods do not have cooking facilites and do not have an oven in them.

Fantastic area. Great people and great for a break

  • 5 of 5

After a long drive (4 hours through country roads) I was ready to relax, and was hoping to not have any hassle with booking confirmation, email confirmation etc. We arrived, and Izzy was there to greet us, showed us to our cabin and wished us a good evening. Just what I was after.

Perfect position of the pods themselves, as they overlooked a river and a great mountain range.

The people around the area are so friendly all the time.

One minor concern I had was that the curtain covering the door was quite see-through. I was concerned people could see in if it were daytime. Again, it's only a minor concern, and didn't have a effect on the holiday as a whole.

Definitely recommend this area to anyone looking for the best views of Scotland and a quiet break.

A beautiful part of the world

  • 5 of 5

The wigwam-type pod was as described and offered the luxury of en suite facilities. While a fridge might have been a good addition, there was nothing to complain about.

The area is lovely and the scenery magnificent, though be aware that some attractions in the Fort William area were closed for annual maintenance in early November.

Overall we would highly recommend a visit.
