A washer and dryer are available for your use in dedicated laundry facility right nearby. We have a great Playground area for children. There is a beautiful duck pond with families of ducks. New Tennis Courts and clubhouse with state-of-the art weight room and life cycle/treadmills for your use 24/7. Ocean walk is located right down Mallery Street (the main street of the village- used to be spelled Mallory) - an easy, 8 - 15 minute (depends on how slow you want to walk and enjoy it) stroll from the pier and ocean straight down Mallery Street. A beach is located at the village beach park/pier, with larger beaches further north. There is also a business center with Internet Access and Wireless Internet Access in the common areas (e.g., pool) across property- in addition to condo

Lots To Do: St. Simons Island is ideal for a relaxing and/or fun-filled active vacation in a great resort area. Take a walk in the park where soft breezes blow fresh from the Atlantic ocean. Watch the ships off in the distance while the beautiful birds and wildlife abound. The oceanfront park has the perfect setting for making memories with the ocean as a backdrop and tables for memorable meals under the live oaks.

Visit the Village, the Island's most historic area. Go fishing off the pier. Tour the cool lighthouse and museum.

Many people ride bicycles while on the island- and you can rent easily- or bring your own. There are bike paths all over the island. If you like golf, there are 18-hole public courses in the area. There is a movie theatre of course. Take a scary ghost walk- hear the tall tales. The restaurants offer some of the finest Southern cooking anywhere in our opinion- and we are Southerners.

Great Restaurants: You'll find plenty of shops and reasonably priced restaurants, many within walking distance- located in the Village. Take home your own treasure from one of the shops.

With a non- refundable pet deposit, we allow very well behaved house pets to stay in the condo.

Check-in and out is done locally, right nearby on the Island-- so come on down! You already have some friends awaiting your arrival on the island. Have a great time!!

Relaxing vacation

My husband and I and our dog recently spent 4 nights in this lovely condo. It was clean, convenient and quiet. I can't think of anything lacking. {The living area could use better lighting for reading but that wasn't a big issue by any means.} The owners' attention to details was obvious. Check-in procedure was easy.

We especially enjoyed sitting on the private patio in the evenings.

If you like convenient [ground floor], clean, well equipped and private, this is one for you.

Comfortable and quiet.

We recently rented this condo and liked its location because it was in the back corner of Ocean Walk and was very peaceful and quiet. We rented bikes from Ocean in Motion and rode them every day to the village area. The location on Mallery Street was perfect for us.

The condo was very comfortable and clean. We cooked four of our dinners 'in' during the week, and had most everything we needed except square baking pans or dishes and lids for the small round casserole dishes that were provided. We suggested to the owner that these be added, as well as a dish drainer, since we prefer to hand wash our dishes rather than use the dishwasher.

The bed was very comfortable and the A/C kept the condo nice and cool. However, the bed linens could have been a little more appealing (they were clean, though).

We thought the condo was decorated very tastefully except for the window dressings. We loved the updates made to the kitchen and bathroom.

We would recommend this condo to others. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars were a couple of maintenance issues that I believe have since been addressed.

Happy Camper

Great place for a couple to get away. We loved it. Very quite and clean. The carpet in bedroom was stained. I would put tile in the bedroom,if I was going to rent to dog owners. Great pool, and lake with ducks. We are thinking about an early retirement to St. Simon. It truly is a hiden beauty. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great stay.

Like the hidden French restaurant in New York...

You know that hidden gem of a restaurant you don't want to see reviewed, because then you won't be able to get in any more? I would not review this property, except the owner has guaranteed my reservation dates for the rest of my natural life. The condo, the Island, hidden gems all. Everyone who visited, said, "This is SO NICE." The local professional management company was immediately responsive to any problem. The condo is beautifully appointed and well maintained. It is an ideal location, walking distance to Village, 3 or 5 minutes to the best beaches, 5 or 7 minutes to grocery. Ocean Walk has many amenities and so many lovely residents. It is very dog friendly, so if you do not like to see dogs around, it is not the location for you. However, dog owners are responsible and I never once saw dog litter. Wonderful restaurants on SSI, and I mostly enjoyed long beach walks every day. I found a golf foursome and will begin regular play next year. The owner could not be nicer and more amenable to deal with. I ask only that you take good care of the property as I shall be enjoying it quite a bit on a regular basis.

While we are at ~67% currently, we are striving to have 100% of our guests return time and time again. Note: The times noted to the beach, grocery and village are by car or jogging for most- walking would be a little longer.

The condo completely met our expectations.

The unit was everything we expected: comfortable, clean, newly appointed, nicely positioned in the Village, and very accommodating for us (including Misty-our Schnauzer). We can say this after 60 days of enjoyable living.

Ground level for easy access with laundry nearby, we especially liked the adjoining patio.

Ocean Walk is a beautiful setting for staying on the Island and provided us with a comfortable time of relaxation, less than five minutes from the Village and the gorgeous public access beach.

So many "local color" eateries that we did not exhaust our excursions in 8 weeks. Favorites included 4th of May, Barbara Jeans, Crab Trap, CJ's and Iguana, all in the Village.

The rest of the Island provided us with a wide range of resources from restaurants, church, theatre, medical support, shopping, meeting all of our personal needs.

The Island is a treasure of historical significance and we enjoyed exploring, especially Fort Frederica, the Lighthouse and Neptune Park.

Strategically located, St. Simons provides easy access to nearby locations like the fascinations of Jekyll Island.

The owner was helpful and accommodating. In two months, we contacted the manager once because of a burned out light and someone appeared with new bulb within 3 hours.

We would recommend this property without reservation.

Thanks for looking at Ocean Walk P-13, located at 850 Mallery St. (Near Wilder St. & Lake) in the Village of St. Simons! Anytime is the perfect time to come to St. Simons Island as the weather is typically temperate in Winter to warm in Spring/Fall and hot beach weather in Summer. Best of all, we are always offering special rates and continually are updating the condo! In fact, in August 2015, we just placed very nice and tasteful Tommy Bahama curtains and bed linens in the master bedroom. The recently installed palm tree-motif custom made silk blend curtains in the living area give the condo a warm tropical feel (check out the fabric pics to insure you like it!). Hopefully, that is what you are looking for on vacation to SSI, voted America's Favorite Beach Town and America's Most Romantic Town by Travel & Leisure; and One of America's 10 Best Islands by AOL Travel.

We also hope we can host you on your next vacation to this Southern Paradise.

Oceanwalk, on the ground floor, has been further upgraded with a great new decor, electronics Dedicated/Private High Speed Wireless inside the Condo, Newer large screen Plasma TV/DVD Player in living area, LCD TV in Bedroom, oil paintings, art work etc.)! A New Entertainment Center was just delivered for Summer too!

Newer bedroom furniture (very nice white four poster bed, dresser/mirror, two nightstands, and a Sealy Backsaver mattress with foam topper). A fairly comfortable (just being honest as no sleeper is great) sleeper sofa in the living area.

New tile floors (everywhere but bedroom). Tan carpet in the bedroom. Fresh paint. Newer light fixtures. A new grab bar was installed in the shower in August 2015 as well.
