About Isabella McBride
Hi! My name is Isabella and I am a first generation German American. I grew up in Torrance, California, graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in English and later a Master's Degree in Holistic Nutrition. Hosting you brings all of my passions together: wellness, design, and meditation! My goal is for you to not only have everything you need to enjoy your vacation, but also to have a space for meditation and personal growth. While living in Germany for 4 years (in Munich and Cologne), I had the opportunity to see and experience many different hotels and bed and breakfasts. My goal is to think of the details so you don't have to. I hope you have a Zen experience!
Why Isabella McBride chose Costa Mesa
I created this Zen space with a select guest in mind who enjoys meditation and elevating their energy with a mindful space. Salt lamps, Organic Coffee and Green Tea, and Organic Towels will make you feel relaxed and cocooned. Your kitchen will be stocked with everything I could think of that might make your stay just like home: Coffee Maker with Compostable Organic Coffee Pods, Zen Green Tea, Green Eco-Friendly Ceramic Cookware, Toaster, Rice Cooker, Blender, so that you can make all of your favorite foods or smoothies. Or not--you are on vacation, after all! The property has a lovely pool area with a Jacuzzi that has outdoor community seating, a barbecue area, lounge chairs and a public restroom. Additionally, there is a workout room with nautilus machines as well as a laundry facility where you can wash your clothing with a simple credit card/ATM payment option. For tennis lovers, there is a tennis court on-site, and if you let me know I can arrange for you to have a tennis racket and balls. There is a 7-Eleven Convenience store (open 24 hours) about a 2-minute walk from the apartment for any basic items you may need: bread, eggs, milk, etc.
What makes this Apartment unique
Orange County has it all! Beautiful, clean beaches, gorgeous hiking (more parks per square mile to enjoy than anywhere else in the U.S.!), not to mention just a cool vibe! Enjoy Costa Mesa, a central hub to all things Orange County! Also a short drive to Los Angeles and San Diego--only 30 minute drive to Disneyland, one hour drive to Universal Studios and a 2-hour drive to the mountains (skiing in Big Bear during winter). This location truly has it all. Some of my personal local favorites: Breakfast - Black Market Bakery. The Avocado toast is amazing. They have every decadent bakery item imaginable. Lunch - Taco Asylum. The Wild Mushroom taco is addicting. The beer selection changes almost daily. Dinner - Habana Restaurant. Cuban Cuisine with live music on the weekends. Great environment and patio seating. Walk over to The Lab and across the street to The Camp and explore the many shops, restaurants and events. It is always entertaining and delicious! If you want to venture out a little further, there is Laguna Beach with many art galleries and cafes, the iconic Newport Beach Fashion Island, and the hip Irvine Spectrum night life. For hiking, try Crystal Cove that hikes on a hill along the Pacific Ocean
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
