Central location with pool. Refurbished for 2014 to a first class standard of accommodation, ideally located between the New & Old Towns of Albufeira. A 10/15 minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes from 'The Strip', where there is a fabulous choice of bars, restaurants and shops. If you prefer a quieter more traditional holiday the 'Square' in the Old Town is a comfortable 20-minute walk. Alternatively €4 by Taxi (Taxi rank around the corner) or €2 by the Tourist Train.

The Apartment itself Refurbished for 2014 is on the 2nd floor of a 2 story apartment complex and is ideal for families or couples. It's 14ft south-facing balcony boasts distant panoramic views of the sea and overlooks the private gardens below along with the inviting swimming pool and relaxing sun loungers.

The private yet sunny balcony is furnished with sofa style rattan seating for 4 with a matching table as seen in the photos. You can sit here and enjoy the peaceful surroundings watching the world go by or even after an afternoon snooze in the sun.

The spacious, Air-conditioned living area contains 2 sofas from where you can watch the 32' LED TV or a DVD from the wide selection provide on the Blu-Ray whilst relaxing with a glass of wine or entertaining the children.

The bedroom has a leather double bed and is a bright room with a touch of colour to compliment the new furnishings.

The fully fitted modern kitchen with granite worktops is equipped with all your needs for self-catering, with several supermarkets to top up your cupboards just around the corner however the many close by restaurants or those on the Old Town beach front are a must.

We now have 2 apartments in the same block and have owned and rented the 1st apartment for just over 10 years, we purchased and completely refurbished the 2nd apartment in 2013 ready for 2014 season.

Both apartments are set up for couples and families and we have equipped and furnished both apartments to meet all your needs for an enjoyable, comfortable holiday.

What makes this apartment unique

Both spacious apartments benefit from high ceilings making them very airy and light. The 14ft south facing balconies with panoramic distant sea views over look the private gardens below and numerous surrounding bungalow style villas in this peaceful residential area.

Despite this you are only a 5 minute walk from the bars and restaurants, along with the tourist train and taxis. You couldn't get a more central yet peaceful relaxing location, perfect for a wonderful holiday

  • The bathroom is fully tiled from floor to ceiling, it contains the usual equipment and does have a shower in the bath with a good supply of hot water from the newly installed boiler. New for 2014 is a LED bathroom mirror to bringing the bathroom up to date with extra features.

  • Refurbished in 2014 the bedroom contains 1 Double leather bed, 2 Bedside cabinets with matching chest of drawers. The built in wardrobe also contains a small set of drawers. It is a bright room with a touch of colour and soft furnishings to compliment. We also offer a Chicco cot for our younger guests of which there is room to assemble this in the main bedroom. The lounge has 2 sofa beds of which there are 2 further beds stored underneath, these pull out and raise up to the same height as the sofas, creating 4 single beds all with proper sprung mattresses.

Safety is important to us we have a UK smoke alarm & fire blanket installed. We also provide a basic First Aid Kit. All power & water heating to the apartment is via electricity, we do not have a gas boiler. We also ensure all equipment is tested regularly and items not up to standard are replaced.

Superb Apartment, Nice location

From the time we entered the apartment, we fell in love with its cleanliness and location. It is only 30 mins drive from Faro Airport and in the heart of Albufeira. Very near to beach. I would definitely recommend this apartment for getaways, couples and families. A supermarket nearby proved very handy. Owner was very helpful with any queries.

Enjoyable stay

We were very impressed with this apartment. It was very comfortable and spotless. We particularly liked the large sunny balcony. Our arrival was not so good though as due to a problem with the gate key we had to collect it from a nearby bar which we first had to find. Retrieving the door key from the ground level key safe in the dark was also awkward and advice about turning the key 4 times in the lock would have been useful. Also a bottle of water in the fridge which we usually find in most rented apartments, would have been appreciated on our late night arrival. We also were without English TV channels and although Caroline tried to help here the problem wasn’t resolved. However the apartment was large, clean and comfortable and in a good situation near to the Strip. It was about a 40 minute walk to the Old Town but a handy road train passed nearby the apartment which took you there for 3 euros. The pool was lovely and very quiet with plenty of sun beds. Well kept gardens which our balcony overlooked.

Great holiday apartment

Stayed here in July 2017, has everything you need. Deffo a home from home place. Charlotte was very easy and friendly to deal with. Had a bit of trouble getting into the apartment but only as it was late at night and couldn't find the gate key. Weather was amazing and recommend the little bakery round the corner and the restaurant that does 3 course meal for 10 euros the food is decent and genourous portions.

The apartment is very clean and well maintained,

The apartment is very handy to all amenities, it's well looked after to a good order.

The only thing we missed were more English TV channels or in fact any English channels.We stay indoors most evenings so TV is mainly our sole interest.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review we are glad you liked the apartment and we're most pleased at the email you sent stating "APARTMENT SMASHING, LOVE THE NEW BEDROOM SMASHING! CLEANERS SMASHING!" As for the TV there are 4 channels I wish you had contacted me if they were not working as we could have called the condominium as it is TV connected to all apartments. If they have bad weather the signals get lost and the dishes need re aligning. On a good note we are looking to having full sky installed later this year ready for 2015 as one of our continually updates to help keep our apts great.

Location, location, location.

I stayed in this apartment with a friend for two weeks and found it to be exactly as described. It was very clean and well maintained and everything was in good working order. There was adequate linen and towels, cooking utensils, cookware, crockery and utensils. I was already familiar with this area having rented neighbouring apartments in the past. You can walk into the old town in about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on which route you take, or you can take the tourist train from the nearest stop which is on the strip, approx 2-3 minutes walk. There is everything you need nearby including a mini market just around the corner and a large supermarket a few minutes walk away. Fat Cat's bar and Angelu's are also just around the corner, both of which are very friendly and welcoming.

We didn't use the pool as the weather was not great for much of the time but I have used it in the past and certainly would again.

I would definitely recommend this apartment and looking forward to renting it again in the future.

Algarve is a region renowned for its mild and sunny climate, its miles of glorious sandy beaches with their stunning rock formations and its excellent sport facilities. It boasts an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year. It’s mild all year round with virtually no rain in the summer months.

The old town of Albufeira, which perches on the cliff top overlooking the beach, retains a distinctive Moorish character. There are many excellent local restaurants with bars open until late. In the new town 'The Strip' consists of a mile of bars, restaurants and shops, so there is something to suit everyone's taste in Albufeira.

The Algarve Shopping with large food court and many local and international shops along with a multi-screen cinema is a must.

There are many attraction for children of all ages including Zoomarine, Crazyworld and numerous water parks. For the golfers be it professional or amateur you have many golf courses of Vilamoura.
