Located on a picturesque lava bluff, our condo offers a stunning and unobstructed view of the ocean from our top floor unit. As you relax on the lanai, watching the ocean, you can hear rhythmic sounds of the surf crashing on the lava below.
The condo complex offers several amenities. Enjoy the private swimming pool and heated jacuzzi. Play tennis on the tennis court or grill out in the barbecue pavilion. The pace is very laid back, the essence of Kauai. The condo is comfortable for couples or families. There have been several honeymoon couples that enjoy the privacy of the complex.
Decorator furnishings and a well equipped gourmet kitchen will make your stay a delight. The unit is cooled by the trade winds which are usually quite brisk. Please note there are no elevators. The condo has all the conveniences you will need to enjoy your vacation. There are beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for picnics. A washer and dryer come in handy
Cable and high speed wireless Internet are there for your use. While sitting out on the lanai, email all your friends about your wonderful vacation!
1/2 mile to the east is the Hyatt Resort and Shipwreck Beach. The grounds are incredible! 1/2 mile to the west is Poipu Beach and the Marriott Waiohai. Here you can swim on a life guarded beach, snorkel near a small island, boogie board the waves, take surfing lessons, or enjoy the outdoor aquarium. There are monk seals, turtles and beautiful tropical fish in the water with you. You can rent equipment at Poipu Beach.
The legendary Poipu Bay Golf Course is minutes away and is open to the public.
The best restaurants on Kauai are in Poipu, Roy's Bar and Grill, The Beach House, and Tidepools at the Hyatt. Brick oven pizza is a 15 minute drive away. There is shopping near by as well.
The condo is located on the southern most tip of the island, the sunny part of the island. Drive 1-1/2 hours north to the rain forest part of the island. There are many adventures there. Drive 1-1/2 hours to the west and visit the arid side of the island. Visit the Grand Canyon of Hawaii, Waimea Canyon, a 45 minute drive to the west. There are many hiking trails here. All this is packed into one island with our condo located in the middle of it all, with an ocean view.
There are more things to do on Kauai than you can do on one vacation so plan on coming back, several times. We hope you enjoy the island as much as we do! Mahalo for considering our home .

Bonnie Aitken purchased this condo in 2005
The south side of the island is the sunny side of the island. As the complex sits right on the ocean, there is always a breeze, unless the trade winds are completly gone. At night there is always an off shore breeze. I like hearing the waves crash on the lava bluff.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful condo for our honeymoon! It's very spacious, comfortable and has modern appliances. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and the condo is very close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping! We highly recommend staying in this condo and will definitely be returning!
You have an awesome place and the location is absolutely perfect. My family loved staying there. They were amazed that we were able to see whales and dolphins from the lanai. In fact, our best whale watching experience was from the lanai. We even took a whale watching sunset cruise. But from the condo we saw a couple whales breach and one flapping his/her tale like crazy. In addition to the whales and dolphins we saw plenty of turtles and fish right off the rocks feeding. Just a beautiful location and view. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great experience with this condo! It was the perfect size for our family. My parents stayed in one room and my wife, baby daughter and myself took the other. The sleeping loft, which is bigger than it looks in the pictures, was perfect for my brother! The view is arguably one of the best in the complex, with a straight shot out to the sunset.
The owner was very helpful with providing a pack and play, seat for her to eat at and a baby gate for the stairs.
I could not recommend this property more and we look forward to our return!
Property is well maintained - will be a better location, once the next door construction project is complete. Parking is somewhat limited, and we had to search for a spot - particularly late in the evenings. Quiet and clean.
AWESOME that is the best word to describe our stay on Kauai. The condo was beautiful we all had our own space to spread out. The view out the living room was breathtaking could not get enough of it. We were very close to the beach. We enjoyed going down to the beach after 8pm with our flashlights and looking at all of the sea turtles that came on shore. We also enjoyed going to the Rum Fire for drinks and dinner. We went on a tour were we inner tubed down a watering canals and going in tunnels. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back.
"After trips to the other islands, our family decided to visit Kauai. We had a total of 5 adults and one toddler. We did a lot of research before we chose this condo. The incredible reviews, the view, price, location, and the fact it had an upstairs loft for my mother in law (very hard to stick to a budget and find a 3 bedroom place in Poipu) is what drew us to this place. The upstairs loft was great and more private than I thought when booking the location. The loft is on the 3rd floor, it is open to the stairs but it was a great space. The location of this condo is nice. You are within walking distance to Poipu Beach and the Grand Hyatt. The walking paths along the other resorts make it a very nice way to walk around and see the grounds. The condo was updated, clean and fully stocked with beach and pool toys, surf and boogie board, cookware and everything else that we needed to make it our own for 7 days. It is perfect if you are bringing a toddler. There was a Pack & Play, booster seat and beach toys for my 2 year old. The view from the lanai is AMAZING! You get a perfect unobstructed view of the ocean (added bonus of the blow hole) and pool. The owner (Bonnie) went more than out of her way to communicate and make sure we had the best and most relaxing vacation ever. She suggested activities and things to do, and wherever you had a question, she was extremely prompt to answer. At the beginning of our stay, a small issue with the kitchen faucet came up that required a plumber to make a very quick and non-interrupted appearance. Bonnie went way out of her way to make sure that this situation didn't have a negative impact on us. I can't emphasize enough how accommodating she was from the time I reserved this condo until the day that we left! The only negative I can really think of is that there are a lot of stairs. To get from the parking lot to the condo, you walk down a flight of stairs, then up 2 flights of stairs. To get from the main living area of the condo to the bedrooms, you walk up another flight of stairs and another flight if you go up to the loft. This is not a deal breaker at all and the view more than makes up for it, but, something that you might want to consider if you are older with knee problems (like part our group was). I would recommend this location to anybody that wants to have an amazing vacation like we had!"
Koloa and Poipu Beach are on the southernmost tip of the island of Kauai. The area is known for sunny weather most of the year. Poipu beach is a 1/2 mile walk and is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can swim with monk seals, turtles, and tropical fish. You can surf, boogie board, and snorkel all on one beach. There is even a baby pool section of the beach, surrounded by lava rocks.
