In the front row "F" building at Maui Banyan, this ground floor two-bedroom two-bathroom condo works great for families. With easy ground-floor access, a unique bed layout for larger parties, and all of the amenities of home.

The kitchen in this condo is fully stocked with all necessary cookware and utensils, new counter tops, and new appliances. A bar area allows for a quick breakfast before heading to the beach across the street, while a table and four chairs in the dining area allows for family dinners. Prefer to have your morning coffee outside? Enjoy the cool ocean breezes and swaying palms from the four-top table on the lanai.

This condo features a King bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed and a full bed in the second bedroom, as well as a pull-out queen size sofa sleeper, perfect for small children or the occasional overnight guest. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom, the master featuring a newly renovated shower/tub combination, and the second bathroom featuring a walk in shower. For hot summer days, air-conditioning is present in the living room (servicing the master bedroom through the large, opening doorway), as well as in the second bedroom. At night, large sliding screen doors allow for generous airflow, ensuring your comfort during your stay on Maui. New hard surface flooring was recently installed in the living room and entry way.

The Maui Banyan Resort features two swimming pools, complete with spacious pool decks, hot tubs, outdoor showers, and restroom facilities. Several propane grills are available for guest use, adjoining the covered dining areas, furnished with tables and chairs for poolside lunch or dinner. Nearby, a regulation tennis court is enjoyed throughout the year by visitors to the Banyan, with equipment rentals available at the front desk. This property is beautifully manicured for the true tropical island feel of Maui.

We were a family with teenagers and a grand-parent for a three weeks stay. We loved the layout of the appartment. Everyone had their space and three television sets for relaxing at night after a full day of activities. The location of the unit was very practical location(right accross the beach and the pool). It was very clean and well equiped for all of our vacation needs (AC, washing machine, spotless BBQ, wifi, towels, kitchen, beach gear...) We also loved the ground floor lanai, very calm and shady. Fantastic service.

It's also a short walk to many shops and restaurants. The whole process was amazingly easy and stress free!

This condo is very well-maintained. We actually booked F-201 upstairs as well for our family of 12. The finishes (countertops, faucets, appliances, hardware, decorations, linens, etc.) are nice and clean. There was ample room for 6 people. Everything worked great. There are 3 separate doors to the outside, which really sort of made it feel like we booked 2 separate rooms. The patio has a nice view of the courtyard, which is very well kept. The master does not have a window unit, but it really didn’t cause a problem - the temperature was fine despite the fact that it was in the upper 80s during the days. There is a pool (have to call for the gate code) with a hot tub, grills, and lots of seating. This property is right across the street from the very fun Kamaole Beach Park II (the condo provides pool toys/chairs/beach towels/etc. in the closets). My family and I had lots of fun there. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance (it’s kind of like a primitive, more-scenic Waikiki). It was very hard to find a parking spot near the property (we had 3 cars), but there is parking garage close by, so no big deal. The property management company (Maui Condo and Car) is very well-run, very responsive, and very detailed. I called about a month prior to request a late checkout (on the downstairs unit only), and they were very prompt and responsive. And it was a reasonable price as well. I also called them when we got there to ask about the lack of a window unit. They were very responsive and professional when they reminded me they had told me that a year earlier when I booked (which they had - I had forgotten). Overall, this is an excellent value in a prime location.

We have visited Maui and stayed at Maui baynan 3 times and this was by far our favorite condo. The condo was well equipped with needed dishes and it was wonderful to have the extras of beach items. The location made it so convenient to easily access the beach and pool areas. We definitely will be booking this condo in the future.

I don't use that word lightly nor do I complain about much ..we got the creeps the first night with a huge cockroach .. I know you don't have control of that .. But everyday we killed them .. They seemed to fall from the sky .. Ended up on their backs .. Creepy .. The bugs did us in The air conditioner broke the first day ..we called and within 1.5 days or do we got a new one .. Thank you .. Peter said we wouldn't have wanted to see what was in that hole when he took the unit out.. We think we know The beds were very comfy.. We just won't ever book a bottom floor unit again This trip was booked long in advance snd we had actually book q407 I believe and it sold .. We had to scramble to find new accommodations Just a tad stressful The grounds are immaculate .. Your staff work hard in the hot sun The room could be updated ..

While we do treat quarterly, sometimes a messy guest before you can create an environment that attracts pests, no matter what floor the condo is on. We are very responsive when we have reports of pests, and can usually nip the problem in the bud before it gets out of hand. Our office is available to help you 24/7.

The location of this unit was its best quality. There were tiny bugs all over the kitchen, the tub did not drain well, the telephone did not work and beach chairs and umbrella were in poor condition. Also the air conditioner was extremely noisy. This is a room that sleeps six but only 4 beach towels in unit. Sheets for queen hide a bed were not on the bed and when we went to put them on they were for a single bed. The management company was friendly and tried to deal with our concerns.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We'll make sure to schedule a pest control right away to correct any issues with bugs. Unfortunately, in a tropical environment it only takes one bad guests to attract pests by leaving our garbage. We like to remind guests to take out trash often, wipe off counter tops, and keep screen doors closed. We're sending out someone today to fix the tub, telephone, drop off new sofa-sleeper sheets, and inspect the beach equipment. We can also have the A/C inspected. As for the amount of beach equipment, as you saw in the unit, storage is limited. We provide two beach chairs and two beach towels per bedroom, not one per guest. This information was provided to you in your initial confirmation. We hope we're able to better meet your needs in future visits, and apologize for falling short on this trip. UPDATE: We had the A/C inspected, and agreed that it wasn't working properly, and had it replaced this week. Thank you for providing us with this important feedback.
