Walk to Scarborough Beach, Narragansett, RI
average rating of 5.0 based on 6 reviews

We had a tremendously relaxing vacation in a cottage that has become our second home.

  • 5 of 5

The home is everything you might expect your very own cottage to be. It is cozy, homey, comfy and nicely outfitted with anything you would need if you went away for a week.

It is a five minute walk to Scarborough State Beach, and a diner, Cumberland Farms, Dunkin Donuts, a deli, pizza shop and package store.

Great stand-alone cottage if you wish to bring all your own food. But should you go out to eat the majority of the time there are numerous class "A" restaurants with a wide variety of prices.

Come on down!!!!!

Have Always Loved the Narragansett Area

Quaint, Clean, Comfortable Summer Cottage. Well Equipped. Deck and back yard. Always a nice breeze blowing through the house. Great Location near everything. Down the street from Scarboro Beach. One Thing: Bring your own beach chairs. Things to down in Newport: Light House Boat Tour, Gansett Boat Tour, Bird's Eye View Helicopter Tour-(Higlight of or vacation!) Storm Brewery, Vineyard Winery. Jazz Festival---I think in July? Great spot for a summer vacation with lots of memories to treasure! Susan, David and John Thornton -Chicopee, MA

Ideal Beach Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I am always skeptical of choosing the right vacation rental, but 67 Knowlesway proved to be perfect. Just a short walk form Scarborough Beach, we enjoyed a week of sunshine and relaxation. We had the opportunity to walk down to the beach to see the sunrise and of course, catch those great tanning rays during midday, along with returning to walk the beach at night. The house is perfect for two people or a small family with a great little porch and backyard. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower which we used on our return trips from the beach and the extra movie channels too for when the weather proved challenging. Overall, my boyfriend and I were so sad to leave as the house and location were amazing. I highly recommend 67 Knowlesway!

Perfect Get Away

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. We have two younger children (7 and 4) who loved the space of the back yard. The location was an easy walk down to the beach, the lighthouse, Gailee etc. It was also a quick walk to Dunkin Donuts, a great deli, ice cream shop, pizza and a quick drive to Stop & Shop. We enjoyed many day trips including Newport and the Providence Zoo. I have a very hectic and high pressured job so this was the perfect location to unwind, relax and enjoy some quality time with my family. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The most peaceful locale in all of Narragansett where a cool breeze blows on the deck even in the days of high humidity! A superb getaway, second to none, where one may escape reality on their hard earned vacation!

This is a better then well maintained property with all the amenities needed to enjoy our vacation. Two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa to accommodate our family and guests. A full kitchen and washer/dryer make this the ideal home for anyone kooking for a quiet escape close to the beach and to convenience stores. The neighborhood and Scarborough Beach are inviting and great walking and biking areas with limited traffic. You are also close to all the restaurants, Newport and coastal Rhode Island environs. This is our third year and we will be reserving two weeks again next year.

Just heavenly!

  • 5 of 5

If you want to relax when on vacation this little house is it, it is clean and comfortable, has a great back yard, ceiling fans to keep you cool and so close to the beach you can hear the surf was clean, well equipped and heavenly! great barbeque and deck, cable, wi-fi,... what else can you ask for on a late august vacation... we did not feel the earthquake, survived hurracaine irene untouched except for lots of wind and rain... the kids loved being so close to dunkin-donuts , we loved the cigar store and liquor store a very short walk away, the farmers market on sunday a mile away for great tomatoes, fresh corn, and all kind of fresh produce, artisinal breads, fresh oysters...fresh flowers, all natural mosquito repellent, bought fresh fish in galilee at the ferry warf fish market...the best fresh fish and lobsters almost everyday and most of all we enjoyed the simple, humble, comfortable easy living the little house provided us while we got away from the rat race in nyc

Thank you John, you were very helpful and we love your house, we will be back!
