The translation for Nui Kai is 'big sea', and that's what you get with this incredibly beautiful island style luxury 2-bedroom condo. Featuring a unique 'outdoor room', the lanai offers a large sectional, tiki bar and small dining table. All of this overlooking a 180-degree view of the ocean and reef below. Large living room/dining room with island style furniture, cable television and DVD/CD. Fully appointed kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The master bedroom features '40's hawaiiana décor' with king bed, cable television. The second bedroom features a Hawaii theme with queen bed, desk, and TV. Diamond Head view to the east and to the northeast is a gorgeous cityscape with beautiful Kapiolani Park, the beautiful skyline of Waikiki, Honolulu and the Ko'olau Mountains. Our love of Hawaii began 20 years ago. After years of coming to the islands we decided to buy a studio so we would have a place to be. One thing lead to another (mainly, we found a building on the ocean that we loved!)...and we ended owning several vacation rentals in our building on Waikiki's Gold Coast. Today, we have 2 units...a 1 bedroom ocean view (vrbo 49561) and 2 bedroom oceanfront (vrbo 41987). We stay in our units 3-4 times a year and are constantly maintaining the decor, updating amenities, painting, and keeping them in awesome condition!

The reason we purchased our condos in this building had to do with location. It is perfectly situated at the edge of Waikiki in Kapiolani Park. Located on Waikiki's famous Gold Coast, the condo building sits on the water with ocean on one side and park on the other. We like the location because although Waikiki and all the hustle bustle are just a 10-15 minute walk from the condo (along the park and the ocean), we are just far enough away for it to feel less hectic, more peaceful and a lot quieter...and the views of the ocean, city skyline, moutains, park and Diamond Head Crater are incredible.
We have stayed in at least 5 different condos at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel and this is by far our favorite. The décor is very "islandy" and warm and cozy and the condo has absolutely everything one could ever need. The lanai was amazing! We spent a lot of time out there watching the surfers and the waves and I even took a fantastic nap on that comfy couch. We love this part of Oahu as it is a stone's throw away from Sans Souci beach which was great for our 4 year old girls. It is obvious that the owners really care about this place and want you to enjoy your stay. Mike (the owner) and his property management guy were amazing to work with. We will definitely be coming back!!
Never looked so forward to returning to a place after a day of touring. The condo was so comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked for delicious meal preparation. The water was so clear we could see turtles and colorful fishes from the lanai. The sound and beauty of the ocean so close made it hard to believe we were near a large city.
What a find! We could hardly tear ourselves away from the stunning views in three directions. I would have been perfectly content to just relax on the large and comfortable balcony, staring at the blue Pacific. When we forced ourselves to leave this lovely, clean and spacious condo, we were delighted to find the bus stop mere steps away. We felt safe in our quiet neighborhood, but still easily able to walk to Waikiki Beach and local attractions. It was a sad day when we had to leave. Thank you again for your hospitality!
Our family spent a relaxing Christmas holiday in this delightful condo. The location was ideal, a close walk to Waikiki, yet far enough from all the crowds to avoid the noise.
The property was well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We hiked a lot, did some boating and enjoyed some terrific restaurants.
Not to be missed is the hike to Manoa Falls, and the nearby Lyon Arboretum.
We would happily return or recommend this property to others.

We stayed here from 3/27/13 to 4/1/13 celebrating our anniversary with my sister and brother in law. What a wonderful vacation we had, exploring, walking the beach, and shopping. When we had enough, we had a beautifully decorated condo to come home to, and relax on the lanai looking out at the ocean.
The nice kitchen helped us save some money by eating some dinners at home. We all felt that we
would love to come back again. I would recommend this property to everyone. Thanks Mike

Considered by some to be the best location on Oahu, the peaceful Gold Coast offers incredible restaurants, swimming, snorkeling, the beautiful Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo and the Aquarium. And all of this is only a few minutes walk to the many restaurants and outrageous shopping of Waikiki.

- We collect a 40% deposit (of rent only) to block the dates off the calendar.
- Final payment (other 60% rent, taxes, parking if taken, and refundable security deposit) due 60 days prior to rental.
- We collect a $500 fully refundable security deposit. This is returned in full if condo is left in good condition upon departure.
- We have a parking option for this condo. It is $15 per night. Client can choose not to take parking.
We normally have a 5 night minimum...but will go down to 3-4 nights if we are filling a gap or it butts up against an existing rental and where there are no "dead nights

6-8 night stay: $339 nt +tax & fees
