Inside a small securely gated complex with a communal pool, the Mallorca Atico Penthouse is a very spacious, three bedroom 'duplex' apartment, situated only approx. 150 meters from the Mediterranean Sea.

Perfectly positioned on the seafront, between the bustling little town of Alcossebre and the marina at Las Fuentes, all five of the areas 'blue flag' beaches, shops, restaurants and bars are within just a few minutes' easy walking distance.

On the third floor in a block of only five apartments, the generous accommodation spans two floors with approx. 140sq mtrs of living space. Each floor has its own terrace and both terraces have stunning, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea and Alcossebre coastline.

On entering the penthouse you walk into a bright and spacious living/dining area, with comfortable seating for six people. There is independent Wi-Fi in the apartment, a Smart TV and also a woodburning stove insert in the fireplace. The dining area has a table with chairs and comfortably seats six people. From the living/dining area double patio doors lead out onto the large lower terrace.

The lower terrace is furnished with a large table and six chairs and also benefits from a built in barbecue area, making it excellent for dining outside. This terrace is also partially covered by the upper floor, which makes it a comfortable place to sit and relax out of the glare of the sun, while enjoying the beautiful view of the sea and watching the world go by below you.

Back inside, leading off the living/dining area there is a large, separate well equipped kitchen. With a ceramic electric hob, oven, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer all your catering needs are taken care of. A washing machine, iron and ironing board are also provided in the kitchen, eliminating the need for you to pack and carry excessive amounts of clothing.

One of the twin bedrooms is also situated on the first floor, with a built in double wardrobe with drawers and patio doors which also step out onto the lower terrace. The first floor also houses the bathroom, with a bath and overhead shower, washbasin, bidet & WC.

Two short flights of stairs take you up to the second floor, which has its own shower room with an enclosed shower, washbasin & WC.

The remaining bedrooms, one double and one twin, are also on this floor and both have built in double wardrobes with drawers and patio doors which lead out on to the upper terrace.

The upper terrace has a variety of uses... the two sun loungers make this an ideal place for sunbathing in privacy. You could also make use of the table and two chairs for some 'quiet' time or a peaceful evening drink watching the sun set over the sea. (It's also an ideal place for drying the washing.)

This is a real 'home from home' property and NOT the usual 'soulless' rental apartment.

Outside the apartment, the regularly maintained communal pool and gardens are within a securely gated area. Plenty of car parking spaces are available in the areas around the complex.

Children are welcome (cot available), but pets are not allowed inside the complex.

Alcossebre is a quiet Spanish seaside town when compared to other over populated Spanish beach resorts. It has managed to retain it's 'Spanish' charm, though foreign tourists are both welcomed and well catered for. Even when it's bustling in the summer months, it still has a family oriented atmosphere and is a great place for children. Out of 'high season' the area is perfect for those who like walking and cycling or for those who just simply want to relax and take it easy and eat out at some of the lovely restaurants found locally.

What makes this apartment unique

The sea view 'grabs' you as soon you walk through the door and it leads you to the lower covered terrace, where from there you have an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean Sea and Alcossebre coastline.

The penthouse is also extremely spacious compared to more modern properties and benefits from a large separate kitchen. The accommodation is spread over two floors, with the upstairs also benefitting from a sun terrace with the same wonderful views and it's an ideal spot for sun bathing or for those just wanting some 'quiet time'.

The penthouse also benefits from independent Wi-Fi which can be accessed on both floors.

It's also perfectly located, just a few minutes' easy walking distance to all the beaches and amenities that both the town and marina have to offer.

Great location

Just the two of us stayed in this lovely apartment for 11 days but it could easily accommodate six comfortably. Ideally located between the town of Alcossebre and the marina area of Los Fuentes (Five minutes easy walk each way). Very spacious, well equipped and the two terraces are a great bonus. We particularly enjoyed sitting out of an evening, sipping chilled wine and watching the people parading up and down the promenade in the sunshine in the Spanish tradition! We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Fantastic apartment and holiday

Our family of five had a fabulous holiday in the apartment. The apartment itself was extremely spacious - plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy. The fact that there were 2 bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and terrace was superb - amazing views from rooftop terrace. The floor with kitchen, living, dining plus bedroom and bathroom and a large balcony with table for 6 was ideal. Kitchen was well furbished and there was a washing machine. Lots of games for the kids and collection of beach toys, mats and a trolley to take to the beach. Pool on premise was lovely. Magnificent views and the beaches were a close walk and water was warm. Checking in and out was easy and we had everything we needed. We hope to return again.

Having travelled widely on the Spanish costas Alcossebre was quite a find. A resort that is not overdeveloped, has great beaches, good reasonably priced restaurants and a calm friendly vibe. The penthouse apartment is idealy located for a short stroll to the town or the nearest beach, or longer walks are possible in the area. The apartment is also very spacious, with all facilities provided, topped by the two terraces with front line sea views. The owner was prompt and attentive with information and the booking process. We visited Peniscola along the coast but once we had taken in the sea view we could not wait to return to the peace of Alcossebre. We will definately return.

Fantastic!

We have hired villas and apartments in many places and over many years. This was without doubt the best we've ever had.

The advertisement was 100% accurate and in fact doesn't do the property justice. It is a fantastic apartment in a fantastic location.

There is nothing negative to say about it. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to go back someday.

Mallorca Atico Penthouse

We stayed here at easter 2009, there were six people in our party (three couples) and whilst we are all very good friends it is good if you can have your own space, this was no problem here as the property is very spacious and fully equipped with everything for a fabulous holiday, there are lovely areas around to vist, Peniscola was our favourite but there are lots more, Allcossebre itself is a very nice resort, the beaches are great with lovely sand, the bubble beach is great for children, even though it was a bit cold when we went and didn't use it much in the summer it would be perfect, there are also very nice bars and restaurants, although we did a lot of our own cooking using the well equipped kitchen and barbeque, we would certainly go again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Situated on the Paseo Maritima between Alcossebre and the marina at Las Fuentas on the 'Orange Blossom Coast' in the Castellon region, just a 40 minute drive from Castellon airport and an hours drive from Valencia and Reus (Barcelona) airports. Only ten minutes walk away from the Sierra de Irta national park, which has public footpaths to take you through the park. There are also five 'blue flag' beaches along the coastline, with trampolining & volleyball. For the evenings, there are plenty of quiet bars & restaurants within close proximity. The bustling little towns facilities include, shops, banks and a tourist information centre. In neighbouring Benicassim there is a large splash park ideal for the children. Two 18 hole golf courses are within 40 minutes drive from the town. A large Go-Karting track is situated on the outskirts of Peniscola just 10 minutes way from Alcossebre.
