The apartment sleeps up to 6 people. 2 in a double bed in the master bedroom which also has a bathroom with bath, 2 in a room with two beds and two more in the third bedroom. There is a large balcony overlooking the gardens in front of the building and the sea. The modern kitchen has a fridge, a dishwasher cabinet, washing machine, microwave, toaster and other utilities. The first bathroom with a large shower at ground level, sink and toilet. The bathroom of the master bedroom has: a bath, washbasin, bidet and WC. The apartment is located 100 meters from the bus station to which you can move around the province and even in Spain. There is a wide choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The iconic Esplanade is a 10-minute walk, and the department store "El Corte Ingles" is 5 minutes walk, Thursdays and Saturdays there is the market, offering an unrivaled range of fresh fruits and vegetables. Getting around the city is easy, either on foot or by bus and access to other parts of the Costa Blanca is easy using inexpensive local buses and regular trains and trams. Access to the airport is very close for only € 3'85 can also easily use regular buses that stop near the apartment. The apartment has cold / hot air conditioning with thermostat in each room.

Perfect location, very well organised owner (Matea)

Matea met us outside the apartment as arranged. We arrived early enough to pop to the supermarket next door, (which is open late anyway) but if we had been late arrival, there was plenty of essential basics provided for first nights stay! The apartment is very quiet, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean - everything worked well, & the good sun blind on the balcony was appreciated - we rarely sat indoors. The location is great, just a nice stroll into the centre, and also to the tram, bus & train station. We used the tram several times, also found lots of different walking routes into the centre & old town, usually involving lots of coffee/beer breaks en-route. For an evening meal there is loads of choice - so nice to have the option of either a closer or further stroll, depending what time we could rouse ourselves from pre-dinner drinks on the balcony! Matea kindly agreed a later departure time on our final day, as our flight didn't leave Alicante until 17.00, he was a lovely man to deal with, throughout

Owner's Response: He quedado muy contento de la semana que han estado en mi apartamento estos señpres, limpios, educados, no he tenido ninguna queja de los vecinos ya que han sido muy silenciosos. El apartamento lo han dejado muy limpio. Cuando ellos quieran, pueden venir, que con mucho gusto se lo alquilo cuando ellos quieran. Ha sido un placer tenerlos esta semana. Mateo Aparicio

Nice apartment with interesting views

Apartment lived up to its description on the site, it was exactly as advertised.

Mateo met us on arrival outside the block. He speaks only a little English and I a little spanish, his wife was waiting in the apartment. Between us, lots of pointing, nodding and translators on phones we were shown around and made very welcome.

The balcony was a plus, south facing, sheltered with a good view. We spent a lot of our time sitting reading there with the odd glass of wine of course.

It is in an excellent and safe location only five minutes walk in one direction takes you to the start of the lovely gardens with paths leading onto the esplanade that runs along past the marina then to the beautiful beach in Alicante.

The main areas for restaurants are accessed from the esplanade.

If you go in the other direction from the apartment within 10 minutes you reach the main road that leads to the main shopping street, also the train and tram station.Public transport is easy and cheap to use to see the surrounding area.

Mateo and his wife also had instructions ready for their local fruit and vegetable market. Such a choice, so good value that was much appreciated as we would not have found it otherwise. Just local people doing their shopping. Their is also the large Mercado in the centre of Alicante but this one was much better

We spent five weeks in the apartment and used the tram and train to get around. Also did lots of walking as it is a nice city to visit.

The apartment block was well maintained as was the apartment. It is well equipped with plenty dishes etc We had one small problem while we were there after emailing Mateo it was resolved within 24 hours. We will definitely be back.

One of THE best

Mateo the owner does not speak English and I only speak a little Spanish that however did not stop us from asking lots of questions and getting speedy replies. We both used Google translate.

On arrival Mateo was waiting out side of the building and he showed us how to get to the apartment. This involved taking one lift to a 2nd floor, crossing a lobby and into another lift to another 2nd floor. The apartment was large, inviting and looked great. Some how with a lot of laughter we were shown around the apartment and then Mateo and his wife left. The balcony has a great view, over a small park and onto the harbour and the sea. 3 double bedrooms, 2 with bath and a comprehensive kitchen were now ours.

The location is perfect and it seems that you are never too far from anything, el Corte Ingles, Central Market, Postguet beach and the promenade, we couldn't have asked for better.

Mateo was always on hand to answer any questions via email, it was easier for all of us as neither of us spoke each others language.

We will definitely return only this time we will be visiting friends.

I cannot praise the apartment enough and highly recommend it to anyone who values a very welcoming environment.

Appartamento super accessoriato

Appartamento con ogni genere di comodità: lavatrice, lavastoviglie, aria condizionata in tutte le stanze, 2 bagni e biancheria inclusa. Casa molto spaziosa per 6 persone, pulita. L'autobus da e per l'aeroporto (C-6) passa attaccato a casa. Unica pecca è il fatto che sia un po' lontana dal centro e dalla spiaggia (15 min a piedi, ma si può fare). Proprietari cordiali, ci hanno aspettato all'arrivo fino a mezzanotte senza problemi.
