This beautiful, well lit and spacious 300 hundred year old House of Character enjoys rooftop views over central Mellieha and out to Gozo. Lots of local amenities, beaches, dive centres, shops, and public transport are close by. This fantastic 300m² property comprises of 3 double bedrooms, spacious bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, balcony, downstairs toilet, laundry room and a secluded garden with its own 30 year old vine.

Bedrooms:

Master bedroom with double bed, an array of antique pine furniture and a large sofa. Second bedroom, two single beds and an array of antique pine furniture, an i-pig docking device, ceiling fan and chrome floor standing fan. Third bedroom, double bed, pine furniture throughout and floor standing fan.

Bathrooms:

Modern master bathroom, combined tub and shower, wash basin and wc.

Kitchen:

The kitchen has large free standing pine cabinet containing crockery, cutlery and utensils. The kitchen contains a large refrigerator, gas-fired oven, microwave, toaster, coffee percolator and grinder. Other basic cookware is also provided.

Outside Utility Room:

Washing machine, Gas barbecue

Living Rooms:

The living room contains a leather Chesterfield three piece suite, stereo system with Aux input for electronic devices, TV and DVD player.

Dining room

A hardwood dining table with seating for six. Adjoining the dining room is the kitchen with seating for four at a pine breakfast table.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:

The house will be ready for occupancy before you arrive. All towels and linen are provided.

Facilities:

Fridge/Freezer, Kitchen cooker, Iron, Washing Machine, Cable, Wireless Internet Access, Room Fans, TV, I-Pig docking device, an array of beach equipment, Gas Barbecue and some Board Games (Monopoly, Chess, Brain Stain, Articulate, Scrabble).

Travelling

The travelling time by car from the Airport of Luqa to Mellieha is about forty minutes. We recommend hiring a car since prices are very competitive and it will enable you to explore the island. We strongly recommend a trip to the sister island of Gozo. The best beaches are in the north of the island of Malta (all within short distances from the property) and we also recommend Ramla Bay in Gozo. The most accessible beaches in Malta are Ghadira Bay, Little Armier, Ghajn Tufiegha, Golden Bay and Paradise Bay. Public transport is very good and beaches in Malta can be reached in a quarter of hour by car or bus.

We believe that our property has lots of character but is still open and spacious. Our property is in a quiet residential location but is close to local amenities. Our house has lovely roof top views and the housekeeper lives next door should you need any advice and guidance. One major advantage of renting our house over an apartment is that you can peacefully retreat and relax in the yard with a bottle of wine or beer under the vine, and if you come in the late summer it bears the most fantastic eating grapes. How many balconies can you do that on?

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
