Enjoy the privacy and serenity of this 1.4 acre meadow overlook in the heart of the Vineyard's rural soul: Middle Road. At the juncture of Music Street, this two-building compound is near everything yet quiet with no neighbor in sight. Walk to the twice-weekly Farmer's Market at Grange Hall. Get involved at Ag Hall in agricultural, horticultural or youth activities. Give your kids a riding lesson at neighboring horse farms. Or walk along Music Street of an evening to Alley's General Store for ice cream. Across the street are 750 acres of wildlife refuge preserved by The Nature Conservancy with extensive walking paths.

Towels and linens are included. Cleaning is at no charge. Note that the guest apartment comes with the main house only from July 1 through August 31.

When Islanders take their children on a scenic tour, they go up Middle Road. It is the most beautiful part of the Island, portrayed with a timeless canvas of meadows, stone walls, sheep, cattle and weathered barns. At one point you come to Keith Farm with its rolling meadows and wandering cattle and backed by the sweeping Atlantic. It is the Island's most stunning view.

Over the two-car garage is a comfortably renovated one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen of all-new appliances including dishwasher. It's perfect for an au pair or guest accommodation. Main house sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, apartment: 2 in one bedroom.

Cleaning $0

Security and one-half rent are due upon commitment. The final rent payment is due 30 days prior to check-in. There is no cleaning fee. Upon lack of payment 30 days prior or notice of cancellation, no returns will be made. Owner will make that time period available for re-rental. Monies received above the original contract total will be returned to the original renter.
