This condominium is located on the two upper-floors (the 4th floor of which is a terrace) of a 3-story art deco building and is situated in the historic district of Miramar, a community virtually at the entrance to Old San Juan. It is a unique, completely renovated luxury condo and sleeps seven. It has a huge tile and partially covered wooden deck terrace (2250 sq. ft.) with cityscapes, ocean and mountain views.

The 3rd floor is a large living area (also 2250 sq. ft.) with an open living and dining area, custom gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, and two baths.There is a separate office area. There are marble & granite surfaces in the bath & kitchen, and the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. It is fully air-conditioned and has two private off-street parking spaces.

It is conveniently located within minutes of Condado (the tourist district of San Juan) and Old San Juan (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Ocean beaches are nearby, and major hotel facilities and restaurants are within walking distance. The location offers immediate access to all major highways. The community of Miramar is unique due to its many historic homes, quiet tree-lined streets and 'neighborhood' atmosphere.

The Fine Arts Movie Theatre is just around the corner and offers the finest international movies. The San Juan Convention Center, the premier site for business expositions in Puerto Rico, is within walking distance. Public and taxi transportation is available within one block to take you into the heart of Old San Juan or wherever else you wish to visit. We are located within ten minutes of the international airport.

Great accomodations! Easy to access all areas.

Everything pictured was accurate, rooms are spacious, well maintained, and the terrace had outstanding views of the crashing waves. It was a pleasure to rise in the morning and sit on our terrace with coffee and make plans for our day's adventure. This turned out to be one of our most relaxing vacations with a place that became our "home" for the week. Neighborhood was friendly and helpful with some good restaurants within walking distance.

Immaculate

This property is gorgeous!! We arrived early and contacted the property manager, Jose, who allowed us to check in early!! There is on site parking which is very convenient. It is located in the beautiful area of Miramar in San Juan. There are wonderful restaurants and a grocery store around the corner.

The condo was spotless and we felt very comfortable staying there. The rooftop terrace is a special treat especially at night. We relaxed and enjoyed a drink under the stars. From there , you can see the ocean also!!

We ate most meals there as my son is a great cook and we saved some money. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped. The master bath is enormous with a spacious shower and tub.

The property manager , Jose, was polite and attentive. We would not hesitate to stay there again!!!

Great choice.

We stayed at this beautiful home in early June 2016. The location was perfect with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do on our vacation in Puerto Rico. This did not feel like a rental property. It was as if friends had offered us their perfect house for our personal use and had gone to great lengths to provide every thoughtful extra to make our vacation special. We really did not want to leave--and we certainly plan to return!

Nice home perfect for families

This house was fine for our family. I can see how some of the reviewers would not like the third bedroom off the dining room as it has no door and little privacy, but was fine for us. Also, the shower stall is a phone booth sized one, which again was fine for us but I could see how others would find it small. The master bath compensates as it is huge! Roof deck is tired but has nice views and we enjoyed late night drinks and early morning coffee on the patio. Kitchen was great all modern appliances and plenty of room. TV room was spacious with satellite TV, internet worked fine. Two parking spots were convenient, too.

Good and Not so Good

This apartment has some good and some not so good things to note. I’ll start with the good first to be fair.

Jeffrie was very responsive at the beginning. He even replaced one of the pull out beds with a regular queen bed when we expressed a concern. The location is ideal. You are minutes away from the airport, Old San Juan & an expressway making it easy to take day excursions. There are several neighborhood restaurants and a grocery store walking distance from the apartment. The place comes with 2 parking spots which is critical. The master suite is huge and very comfortable. The rooftop deck has great views.

Something to mention that doesn’t fall into the good or bad category but is definitely worth noting is how we paid for apartment. Jeffrie requested to directly take down our credit card info rather than having us pay via the Homeaway system. He proved trust worthy with our info but it gave us pause. I would encourage Jeffrie to use the Homeaway payment system to give his guests peace of mind.

Now onto the not so good. The rooftop deck has some issues that should be addressed immediately for safety. The boards are rotting and the metal railings are rusting through. One of our group had a part of the deck just give out under her foot. Thankfully she wasn’t hurt but the deck was not safe. The window shades throughout the apartment are made of fabric & have what looks like mold on them. It could just be dirt but, either way, that should be addressed. This is not a 3 BRM. It’s a 2 BRM with a study off the dining room. The study has no privacy with only a half wall separating it from the dining room. We didn’t realize this when we booked and made for a disappointing surprise when we arrived. Our group consisted of 3 couples, all who wanted privacy. The 3rd couple opted to leave for a hotel instead. The 2nd bedroom is tiny and has an uncomfortable, full sized murphy bed. Again, not ideal for a couple. As well, it’s located at the front of the apartment and you can hear everything from the street. The shower in the 2nd bathroom is teeny tiny with very little water pressure. A grown man will have a very difficult time showering in there.

Ultimately, I think the layout of the apartment is better suited to a family with kids looking for an affordable place. I would not recommend this place to a group of all adults, privacy will be lacking taking that study into account and the 2nd bathroom will be an issue.

Owner's Response: Some of this guest's comments, require further clarification: 1. Some guests' circumstances require consideration that cannot be given if they make the reservation through the website. It is always the Guests' choice as to how they pay their fees. 2. On the Terrace, any boards that have been found to be weakened or unsafe have been replaced. The iron railings have been encased in lattice work and meet code requirements. 3. In the 2nd bedroom, the murphy bed system has been removed and replaced with a new, queen-sized bedroom set. The window treatments that need to be changed or altered will be redone by mid-March. A contractor has been retained for this purpose. 4. The 2nd shower is amply-sized for an adult. I am 200lbs and I have used it uneventfully numerous times. 5. The 3rd bedroom IS a 3rd bedroom. No guest has ever complained about the privacy or comfort that it affords. Had someone expressed any concerns about the space, those concerns would have been suitably addressed. When you rent to many guests each month, it is difficullt to meet all expectations all the time. We are sensitive to such issues and do everything we can to attend to any concerns that are expressed.
