Such a nice place!

  • 5 of 5

The place was great! The owner was fabulous gave us lots of tips about town, helped us with our luggage which didn't arrive with us on the plane.

The way to down was down hill maybe about 5-10 min long depending on how fast you'd go. The way back home was up hill, but being in Mexico and on vacation we would just stroll up the hill slowly at our own pace and just chat. By the way, my wife was about 4 months pregnant and loved the walking in the center of town, and to and from the center. Taxis are cheap too if too tired to walk!

The apartment had everything you needed. Internet, cable, a 5 gallon jug of bottled water. A/C is not needed in this region of Mexico so ceiling fan were available but we didn't use them. Great restaurant when you got to town. Our favorite was "Truco 7".

Comfortable, beautiful apartment!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and, in my opinion, located in the best neighborhood of Guanajuato. It is an easy 10 minute walk to Teatro Juarez and the shops and restaurants in the city center. It is also near my favorite plaza, Mexiamora, it is very safe (I stayed here as a single female and was very comfortable walking around the neighborhood), and there are several nearby stores to buy supplies. My parents, who are in their late 60s/early 70s also stayed here when they came to visit, and even though my mom has issues with her ankle, they were able to walk up and down to the city center without issue. Another plus is that if you need or want to, it is always easy to take a taxi to the apartment, which is not true for many of the rentals in Guanajuato which are in the middle of callejones where cars cannot go.

The apartment has a full kitchen, a living area, a bedroom with a comfortable bed, and a bathroom. It also has a balcony, which is great for reading, eating, writing emails, and overlooking the beautiful courtyard and the city below.

Gerardo is very hepful and nice, as are the other people who work at the apartment complex. There is plenty of privacy, and I also had the opportunity to meet other interesting travelers who stayed in an apartment. I cannot recommend these apartments enough and I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Guanajuato. Thank you, Gerardo! Nos vemos.

Perfect place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was such a wonderful place to stay, and at a very reasonable price! The kitchen was well-stocked, which is great because we love to cook; and of course it was a bonus to have the lovely balcony with views to sit and enjoy our meals. Gerardo is a wonderful host. He was here on our arrival, and provided lots of insider tips about what to see and do in Guanajuato. The property is on the Panoramic, and there are several routes down to the Centro. We considered the walk up to the apartment our exercise for the day! I absolutely recommend this property. Enjoy Guanajuato!

A place for peace and enjoyment!

  • 5 of 5

As we arrived to the apartment the first thing that amazed us was the mountain view, the quietness, and how roomy the place was. Beautiful garden area and privacy. Gerardo was always helpful when needed, not intrusive at all.

We will definitely stay again there when we go back to Guanajuato. Having an apartment like this when you are walking the city sure makes your evenings more fun when having a Margarita on the porch, the breeze there was a blessing.

Don't miss it! This is your spot to live the Guanajuato full experience!

maybe the best yet

  • 5 of 5

The praise for these apartments is all true. Gerardo was extremely fair and helpful, non-intrusive, but available when needed. The apartment was comfortable and very well appointed, with many of the little things like paper towels that other landlords are too stingy to provide. During my month stay, I never got bored wandering the maze of refreshingly non-rectilinear Guanajuato. Many good language schools, restaurants, people-watching and a cultured vibe in this superb small city.

A Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful week in Guanajuato. Thanks to Gerardo's beautiful apartment we spent a magical week exploring this beautiful city. The walk from the apartment to town via Temescuitate was something we enjoyed immensely and were able to accomplish at our age without problems (wife=69; me=71) Gerardo's apartment complex is very secure and very quiet. We visited the city during a very festive Christmas/New Year's season, yet we never were bothered by the noise of the celebrations taking place. We look forward to returning some day and definitely recommend this clean and quiet location.
