This family friendly condominium is a ground floor unit, walk out to lawn level (which means twelve stairs from parking level to condo) with a spacious lanai which allows open and comfortable outdoor dining. This is on the same level as the golf course. Called daylight basement. Included is a well stocked kitchen, with new sink and granite tops with stove/oven, built in microwave oven and dishwasher, ice maker refrig. Coffee machine, tea pot, rice cooker, blender, mixer, toaster etc. From the kitchen you view a comfortable redecorated dining area and living room. With a sleeper couch and a 50”Flat Screen TV with cable television, DVD Player . You will enjoy an open and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit which the bathrooms were remodeled with 2 beautiful walk in showers with on demand water heater.. The Master Suite offers a King Size Bed, 40”flat screen tv, lanai access and opens to views of palm trees and fairway, also air conditioned. The second bed offers a Queen Size Bed with ceiling fan, and tv, and air conditioning. All rooms have ceiling fans. In the second bathroom is a full size washer and dryer stacked. And a linen closet full of beach extras, like boogy boards, and sets of good snorkel gear, towels,mats,umbrella,coolers,etc.
The location offers nearby shopping center with Longs Drug, many restaurant dining options,Sam Choy, movie theater and grocery shopping in the Keauhou Shopping Village, just a quarter mile away. On site at Country Club Villas available to you are 3 pools,3 hot tubs and 2 tennis courts. This manicured complex is the perfect location for a diversified Hawaii vacation of relaxation and sight seeing.

About Mike Thurston/owner
Mike and Nancee grew up in Utah and moved to Alaska 36 years ago. Now live in Eagle River Alaska, just outside Anchorage. After visiting Maui for 4 years tried Kona and fell in love with the quiet settings, yet a lot of things to do on a large island paradise. We decided to start spending more time in Kona and our condo is the first step. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

Our daylight basement condo is cooler and with the larger lani that opens to the golf course makes you feel like you are there. Ocean view in the background looks like a postcard that you are in. If our 6 ceiling fans are not enough both the bedrooms are air conditioned.
What makes this Condo unique
This setting is so close to things like grocery store, movie theaters, subway, longs drug, restaraunts, kahaluu beach. That many travelers walk to everything.

hawaii anniversary vacation
My wife and I had a remarkably great time on our anniversary vacation. The condo was nice and well taken care of. All the arrangements for our arrival and departure were simple and worked like they were supposed to. It was close to shopping and beaches and the view from the lanai was breathtaking. Access to the pool was close, not crowded, we were the only ones there when we used it and easy to use as well. The use of the chevy avalanche helped out tremendously and made our week stay so much easier. It was a trip of a lifetime for us and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great accomodation and location
Rented this condo for my son's family while they vacationed with us. We are yearly visitors to Kona and own a smaller waterfront condo of our own on Alii Drive a couple of miles away. We are therefore very familiar with the various complexes in this area and look at vacation rentals with a more critical eye than the average visitor. This condo has been nicely upgraded, was very clean and the complex is in well maintained, attractive surroundings. It is an excellent value. Didn't use any of the complex amenities but did like that good shopping was very close by and there was not the traffic that one has to contend with closer into Kailua town. Being a lower unit, I would expect it to be particularly well suited for visits during the warm summer months. Mike was very prompt and easy to deal with - he obviously has been handling vacation rentals for awhile and cares about ensuring an good experience for his guests. No disappointments here. Mahalo.

A Great Start to 2018
Mike's place was PERFECT! We had a super relaxing vacation with everything we needed at our fingertips. The condo felt like home. It was so clean and comfortable and there was nothing else we could have asked for. Mike is super easy to deal with and communication was excellent right from the start. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike's place for anyone visiting Hawai'i.

Beautiful condo, quiet location
The condo and grounds are immaculately kept. The condo is nicely decorated with an island theme. Air conditioner units in bedroom made for a comfy night's sleep. The lanai is huge and overlooks a golf course which was pretty quiet except for on the weekend. The grounds are loaded with flowering trees/bushes and it's in a very peacefu setting just oustide the busy downtown area. The condo owner was excellent at getting back to me and I was able to contact him immediately when I accidentally locked myself out. (the front door will lock behind you if it closes! :)
I would definitely recommend this condo and hope to rent it again in the future.
Nice all around
We enjoyed a very nice stay. The condo is dated but nice. The location is good at the southern edge of the Kona strip. five feet off the lanai are signs telling you that the golf course is private property and trespassers will be prosecuted, but, the view across the 18th fairway is picturesque. A very nice pool is steps away from the unit, however, be prepared to have to use the net as the pump and skimmer only seem to run a few minutes a day. The owners have their private vehicle parked in the assigned space so parking is frequently several yards away. The unit is well equipped and beach gear is available to the renters (beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, towels, umbrellas) and the barbeque on the lanai works great. Be prepared for price adjustment in the final cost. The rental agreement with the owners does not include fees charged by VRB0 (Home Away). Our rental went from the advertised $90 per night to a little over $130 per night when the agency billed us.

Beautiful golf course property with great ocean views
From start to finish, this was an amazing experience! Easy to find, great property with everything you need to truly enjoy the Big Island. Snorkel gear, beach gear, completely outfitted kitchen. Super comfy beds, lux linens and towels. Take advantage of your personal sunset spot either from the lanai or the pool. The owners were very accommodating and always available for questions. In the future, I would take advantage of renting the owners on site vehicle, too.
