PRICING: The pricing section of this website is a bit confusing, so let me explain. I have had to raise my prices because Home away not steals almost 10 percent off the top of my rent. Not to mention that they also charge you. Such a rip off! To get an accurate quote or to inquire about any special rates, please send me an inquiry and I will give you the best rate I can. There is a premium added for July 4th, Regatta Week, Memorial Day and Labor Day. The weeks from December 20 to Jan 6 are also premium weeks. Off season I rent by the week, weekend, or day. The monthly rate is only offered for longer term off season rentals. Ski Season: I offer the full season at a very very good rate and I can explain this in more detail at your request. I do not use the online payment system with VRBO or Homeaway because they charge YOU (the renter) an extra $300+ that I would rather see you use for a good meal! Feel free to call me at 804.241.5661

About Robin Pearsall
I live in Richmond, Virginia but have been summering in Harbor Springs for my entire life. I am a real estate agent in Richmond with Re/Max Commonwealth. My children and I cherish the time we spend together at this cottage and hope you will, too!
Robin Pearsall purchased this House in 2004
Why Robin Pearsall chose West Traverse
This is positively the best location! My children could walk or ride their bikes to town, walk to the beach, swimming, sailing school, tennis, etc. The porch 'makes' this house!
What makes this House unique
Hands down it is the location and the wrap around porch!

Great location, family friendly house, wonderful owner
Planned our vacation late in the season and was so happy this property was available. Robin was easy to work with and went above and beyond with ideas and suggestions for things to do for my family and I who had never been to the area before. House was comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. Amazing location with a short walk to town but the peace and quiet of being 5 min away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend and return again.
Thank you so much and I can't wait to have you come back again! All my best, Robin
Great Place & Great Loctaion
This home was perfect for our family winter get away! Very cozy and inviting... Robin (the owner) was excellent to work with!
Thank you Lynn - hope you all will come back in the spring or summer! Thank you especially for your suggestions. Just ordered new fluffy towels and linens for the spring! Such an easy fix and I know future renters will appreciate them. Robin
It was a great place in a great place
The location was great and I loved the Porch. The rooms were good size for our family. The home, while a little dated, had everything we needed for cooking, towels and toiletries, etc. I appreciated the use of the bikes and the grill, comforts of home.
Our family had a very nice stay and will be back.
Our 3rd Visit
We have visited this house 5 times now and it really feels like home. This was our first time coming in the winter. Robin always responds quickly and works with us on scheduling - in this case, it was too cold to ski on the weekend we had booked and she let us move our reservations to another weekend. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The house is always neat and clean with the walkways and parking spaces were cleared of snow when we arrived. She treats us like family and that keeps us coming back!
It was perfect for us.
It was a great house. We were in town for a wedding. It was convenient to everything. There were 6 of us staying and it worked really well - my parents stayed in the 1st floor bedroom and the children stayed on the 2nd floor with us. It was close to the church and town. We liked that we could walk into town and did not feel stuck at the house.
You wont be disappointed
My wife and I chose this house based on the suggestion of a friend who had also rented this house in the past. They told us to expect a very accommodating home that was convenient, comfortable and charming. I'm happy to report that all of that was true and more. The more was that we really enjoyed meeting the neighbors and being able to read the paper and drink our morning coffee on the porch. I highly recommend renting this place if you have a trip planned to Harbor Springs. We waited too long and found that she was booked for most of the summer already,
You won't be disappointed
