Why Sheila Auffrey chose North Georgia Mountains

We picked this cabin because of the location. So close to Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa River, and the major hiking trail hubs.

Had a wonderfully, relaxing time at the cabin. Was really cold, woke up to snow the 2nd morning- we were toasty warm with the fireplace a going! Just what I needed!

Thank you Shelia

Our Stay at Fairhaven

  • 1 of 5

Overall the cabin was nicely decorated, owners were very nice and easy to work with. However, we did not like nor were comfortable with not having a single blind or shade at any of the windows to pull down at night. It was a very eerie feeling with the pitch black outside, and no window shades, especially in the bedroom, even though it was upstairs. And not too pleased that the full bath did not have a door. The location was nice, we enjoyed the area, just wished we had window blinds for the night time.

cute cabin, but not so cute hot tub

  • 3 of 5

I loved the cabin as for its charm, but the hot tub was not very clean, and we could not get the heater downstairs to work. Good thing there was an electric heater upstairs and lots of blankets. I would come again if the hot tub was clean and the home had a working indoor fireplace. The manual said not to use it as it was not vented. However, the views from the back deck were wonderful, and we enjoyed the town of Blue Ridge. The cabin was well stocked with plenty of dishes, etc.
