Our condo is in a prime location in Kamaole Sands. It is located on the fourth (top) floor in building 7(unit 401) and is an end unit which allows for an extra window in the living room permitting more light/breezes into the unit. Being on the top floor we only have 'neighbors' on one side.
The condo overlooks the central garden area complete with colorful fountains and has a partial ocean view from the large lanai. You can see the West Maui mountains in the distance.
Building number 7 is far enough from the road and the pool area so that you will not be troubled by noise. BBQs are located in the garden area below.
The condo feels very spacious (almost 1200 sq ft plus large lanai) and the kitchen is fully equipped (auto ice maker in fridge). A spiral staircase takes you to the upstairs loft which has a king bed and separate full bathroom. There is a separate bedroom on the main floor(queen bed) with another full bathroom. The sofa in the living room is a pull out bed. There is a stackable washer/dryer on the main floor. We have completely renovated the condo including: replacement of all flooring with ceramic tile, new paint throughout, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, new furniture, complete bathroom reno replacing both bathtubs with walk in showers, new art, etc.
Kamaole Sands has a beautiful pool/exercise/hot tub area and is located across the road from lifeguarded Kamaole 3 beach. There are four tennis courts available to guests. We are within easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. Walking north along the beach will take you to Kamaole 2 and 1 beaches. Walking south takes you to Keawakapu beach (one of the best beaches on Maui with 2 great beachfront restaurants) which connects to the seawalk in Wailea.
The 3 golf courses in Wailea are world class courses and are a short drive away. There are boating excursions(snorkel/dive/whale watching) that leave on a daily basis directly from the boat launch across the street.
You will not be disappointed with either the condo or its location.

We have both recently retired and moved to the west coast of BC after spending our working life in Edmonton/Sherwood Park, Alberta.
We hope to avoid the worst of the BC winter in Maui and spend the rest of our time on the coast.

We have been coming to Maui since the late seventies and love it. Kihei has the best climate in the world!
Kamaole Sands is located such that you do not need to get in your car every day. Restaurants and groceries are easily within walking distance. The beach is very safe and the beach combing is fantastic.
We have a large lanai that allows you to have up to six people for dinner outside. The view is terrific. We do not get direct sun on the lanai so it is always comfortable to sit outside.
This condo was perfect and fit all of our needs. We stayed with another couple and there was plenty of room and privacy for both parties. The owners were excellent to work with and made us feel at ease with the booking process. The property was right across the street from the beach and the condo had everything we needed for a day at the beach. We highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back again and again.
This unit was the envy of everyone we were travelling with - spacious, clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in a great location. What a wonderful place to stay for our first trip to Hawaii. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, all the beach items we wanted, and a lanai situated perfectly to experience both sunrises and sunsets. The Kamaole Beach III is right across the road and it is a five minute walk to pick up groceries and liquor. Thanks for a great vacation!
We travelled as two couples and a 15 month old baby. Other than blocking the staircase to prevent the baby from climbing the accommodation was ideal. A company delivers and picks up a playpen for sleeping. I would recommend you order a high chair as well. The kitchen was well equipped and the lanai cupboard had beach equipment and coolers. The neighbours were drunk one night and the facility management was on them immediately to quiet down (They were just talking loudly.). Twice I was walking outside and neighbours gave me groceries and liquor because they were leaving. The washing machine and dryer were so handy and condiments and spices were available in the kitchen cupboards. Thank-you, Sean and Barb for your fabulous facility and prompt replies to emails.

We have stayed in many condos in different areas of Maui over the years. The McAllister's unit is a terrific choice!
We stayed here with our kids for 9 days. The condo was clean, quiet, comfortable and well-stocked. The property grounds were so pretty and the lanai was amazing. We would sit and watch the sunsets every evening. The owners, Sean and Barb, were so easy to work with when booking the condo. The condo has beach chairs, sand toys, body boards, etc. to use at the beach. The beach across the street, Kam III, was perfect. We loved staying in this condo. It felt like a home away from home. This condo was beautiful and in the perfect location. We would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.
We enjoy walking the beach. It is possible to walk along the ocean for miles in either direction from Kamaole Beach 3. Heading South takes you to Wailea and their beach path that ends at McKenna. Going North you can reach Cove Park etc.

Rates are subject to change until reservations are confirmed. There is a $150US cleaning fee and a $35US plus tax resort fee payable to the resort when you check in.
We require a $500US deposit to hold your dates. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We are not currently set up to accept pay pal or credit cards. Most guests pay by way of bank draft or money orders.
