Lovely, contemporary sitting on three and-a-half acres of wooded beauty. Lots of glass and cedar. Open and airy floor plan. Sunken living room with see-through fire place. Huge glass windows and full length deck with view of surrounding woods. All this and yet close to downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy! PERFECT HOUSE FOR LARGE & MULTI-FAMILY ACCOMMODATIONS. A FAVORITE FOR NAVAL ACADEMY COMMISSIONING WEEK SINCE 2006!
Spacious, comfortable, great lay-out. Location provided peaceful, relaxing "at-home" times, yet we were able to enjoy Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington with ease. Everything needed for daily living was provided, including baby supplies. Secluded, but less than 10 minutes from shops, eating establishments, etc. Multi-family celebrations (like ours) would especially fit here. Great choice.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this lovely home in the woods. The setting is beautiful and quiet. The house is very clean and extremely well equipped. Sitting out on the deck having afternoon cocktails is extremely pleasant. All the shopping and activities are close at hand. Our group of 3 couples and 1 single were comfortable and content. Couldn't have wanted more.
The house was beautiful and very clean. We rented it to attend the Navy Air Force football game and was close to the football stadium. I would definitely stay there again.
This property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac down a long narrow driveway and you feel like you're in your own private oasis. There is plenty of parking and the house is quite large. We were attending a reunion and had 10 people staying at the house, but there was enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. The high ceilings add to the spaciousness. All in all we had a wonderful time!
Some friends and I took a weekend away in Annapolis, and this house was fantastic. I knew by the pictures and reviews that it would be wonderful, but it exceeded my already high expectations, and Carla (the owner) was immediately responsive to any questions I had. There are some minor maintenance items that need to be done, but that will be the same in any rental home. What we didn't expect was how spacious the house was, how incredibly well appointed it is -- from fantastic gas grille to kitchen amenities, multiple rooms to spread out in, sound system ... everything! Perfect house, ideal location, and a great price as well. Stay here! You won't regret it! I'm looking forward to a return trip in the future.
My 91 year old father, 3 adult sons + significant others, husband and I spent 5 nights here while attending a family wedding in the area. We loved that it is secluded yet in a neighborhood and only a mile or two from everything you need. There was plenty of room for us to live happily together. The kitchen is very well stocked and we used the grill several times. The beds are comfortable. If you are bringing an elderly person, there are a lot of steps and the bathrooms are not handicap friendly. The house was clean and well-maintained. While in Annapolis, we took a trolley tour (highly recommend), went to the mall and toured the historic downtown and waterfront. I would definitely recommend this property.
