'We loved the cabin. It definitely exceeded our expectations.'
'Late at night, I surfed the internet to look for 'cabins in Boone'. I stumbled upon the web site for Treehouse. This was my dream -- we were hopeful that it would live up to the pictures on the web site......it's even better.'
'The Treehouse Cabin is well worth the trip from New Hampshire.'
“This house is beautiful! We loved the peace and privacy. Jane went “ice skating” on the pond and took an adventure through the woods. Charm and warmth made this house feel like home. Thanks for the stay”
“This was our third trip back to the Treehouse. The first was when Shawn proposed to me in October 2000. This was a special trip back for us because our 2 year old son Evan is with us and another on the way. He loved the porch swing, throwing rocks in the waterfall, playing with all the leaves, roasting marshmallows, looking for bears in the cabin with the flashlight. We look forward to returning many times. Thanks again for the beautiful place to stay.”
“It’s Friday morning. I’m sitting here on the porch and it’s 15 degrees. That’s hard to believe when you are from Florida. We came here in search of snow and were fortunate enough to have flurries on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We also came in search of family time......time together without the distractions of life. We spent our days in the snow, exploring the pond and waterfall, sliding down the snow banks, and throwing snowballs. We spent our nights playing board games and charades in front of the fire. The cabin was the perfect backdrop for our family adventure.”

We stayed for three nights and had a fabulous time. One of the best things about this cabin is it right by Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain so you can to both during your stay. The place was clean and fully functioning kitchen. We definitely will be staying here on our next trip to NC!
This cabin was cozy and comfortable, and nicely furnished with everything we needed. The property with the waterfall and pond was perfect for exploring and relaxing. A delightful spot to get away from it all!
My fiancé and I took a long weekend to the cabin for a post-deployment getaway. We were very pleased with the cabin, which honestly could have housed another couple and some kids very comfortably. We enjoyed the large jacuzzi. Lots of nice touches, like a basket of towels right at the back door, lovely gas fireplace, games, and a fully stocked kitchen. We ordered ahead groceries at Lowes foods. Saved a lot of time, but get your own produce. Fairly close to downtown Banner Elk, skiing, and Boone. Driveway was pretty easy to get up for our Jeep Grand Cherokee, even in fairly heavy snow. Stairway down to the cabin was a little treacherous at first, but once shoveled much better. Probably not very handicap accessible. We will definitely come back, and would bring our 14 month old, cabin is very kid-friendly, but I would bring a baby gate. Older kids would enjoy the large porch, stream, and exploring, especially in warmer months. Loft with extra bedroom, bathroom, futon, plenty of room for teenagers or another couple to have their own space. The fireplace will heat the upstairs QUICKLY! Best part is there is a working, old timey style phone in the kitchen, which the owners called to check on our stay. Too funny to watch someone talk on that thing. Overall great experience. Worth the money, and would definitely recommend to a friend.
Thanks you for sharing your cozy cabin that was as perfect as shown in your photos and description. Nice and secluded but, not far from the fun and good eats. We were so lucky to have snow on the ground when we arrived and enjoyed the beauty of the falls on the property blanketed in white. We will look forward to coming back!
