Value in the heart of the Mountain Village!

Bedrooms 1
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 5 nights

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom,1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)

This is Great condo at the base of the 'Largest Skiing in America'. Perfect for a non smoking couple who are serious about skiing and want to be close to the slopes, restaurants and the nightlife Big Sky has to offer. This very quiet one bedroom condo in the Stillwater complex is convenient to all mountain activities.

In addition to the bedroom, there is a fold out leather couch in front of a gas fireplace in the living room. A large TV with satellite reception is provided. The breakfast nook with chairs is a great place to have breakfast or to stop in and eat lunch, it's that close. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher is suitable for making any meal. There is access down the hall to coin operated washers and dryers.

We practice everything we can to help preserve the environment, so there will not be daily maid service. There are at least a dozen towels and washcloths and there are extra sheets but they are only changed(by us)between rentals.

There is access to a fully equipped health club, steam room, saunas, indoor/outdoor jacuzzi, and outdoor swimming pool just accross the street at the Shoshone which is available for a daily fee. (It is not included in this condo's room rate)

A map of unit and complex location is available in the photos attached to see how close you are to the lifts.

Please ask about last minute rentals. Also I will accept rental less than 5 days if it is between other rentals. You need to call me and ask because VRBO will not forward requests less than 5 nights. Sorry.

Sorry No PETS.

By the way, if you were rent this condo through the Resort, it would run about $300+ per night.

About The Owner

I started out my retirement as a winter ski enthusiast, (ski bum) but after one summer here, I live in Big Sky year round and can't think of a better place in the USA to live. We offer an affordable yet well appointed place to stay that will make your visit to Big Sky memorable. (in a good way)

The Owner purchased this condo in 2006

Why The Owner chose Big Sky

We lived in this condo for our first winter here to check out the 'life style'. We loved a place that was so close to the lifts that we could just walk out the front door and there the mountain is.

Clean. Convenient. Size was small but perfect for the two of us. Phil is a good guy to work with...very personable, accommodating, responsive. We were able to use his locker at the base of the mountain to store our equipment. Price was reasonable. We also had access to Huntley pool facilities - very nice. We had a great trip except for the hand fracture on the mountain the last day of our trip - that was not Phil's fault! We've been going to Big Sky for many years and hope to continue the tradition.

We have stayed in condos and hotels in Big Sky and elsewhere, and have found the value and customer service to be superior here. The unit is tastefully appointed with every thing you need to prepare meals or put your feet up in comfort after a full day of GREAT skiing . The owner is very responsive to any concerns or questions . Of course, the closeness to the ski lifts, bars and restaurants is a bonus. We are repeat satisfied customers !

I can't wait to come back!!!

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I had the best time. The condo was really clean, well decorated, and fully stocked. We would make breakfast every morning before hitting the slopes (easy walk). Every restaurant we went to was amazing...from the microbrews to the bacon, things just taste better in Montana. I can't wait to check out Big Sky in the summer time. I hope this unit will be available when we come back.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient Condo in Big Sky

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in July and had a great time. The condo was exactly as described and fit 3 of us (including 1 teenager) very comfortably. We liked the good-sized living room space (for a condo of this size) for conversation and TV after a day of activities. The owner, Phil, went above and beyond to make our visit to Big Sky a great experience, not only with the condo, but also in providing information on things to do and places to eat. The village was just a short walk up the hill, so it made it easy to take advantage of all the activities. We rode the chair lift, mountain biked, hiked, disc golfed, did the zipline--all right there. We went swimming at the nearby lodge, too (for a small fee). It was about a 1-hour drive to Yellowstone and we did that a couple of days, too. The Town Center is about 9 miles away where we found a grocery store, restaurants--and on one night, an outdoor concert. This condo is a great place to take advantage of so much that the area has to offer.

Nice Condo in Mountain Village

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Big Sky in March and were happy with the condo. It is about a 5 minute walk to the lifts. - We used ski valet at the base of the lifts, so we didn't worry about lugging the skis. The condo is well appointed and easily accomodated the 3 of us. Phil was very easy going on time of check-in or anything else we needed.

Excellent place to stay in Big Sky

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed in this condo and we loved it!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to the slopes and several restaurants. Phil was very helpful during the planning stages of our trip and always answered any questions we had. We fell in love with Big Sky. We both enjoyed that it wasn't as crowded as other skiing locations. We will definitely be planning a trip back to Big Sky!
