Wow. You’re really going to love staying in this place. It’s wonderfully located in the Tuscan Hills. Picture yourself sitting back and having a nice lunch by the pool while the kids are playing ping pong. If it’s not the right size for your family or if someone has already nabbed it, don’t worry. It’s one of a series in the same dream property.
If you’re looking for some tranquility topped off with a nice glass of wine, head to Chianti Sieci. At just about 10 km from the centre of Florence, it will be an ideal haven.
There are a lot of ingredients that go into a go making a great trip: picturesque scenery, easy to get to by car, oh yes, and sangiovese grapes!
If you’re a lover of good wine, then don’t miss out on a visit to one of the region’s wineries. You’ll discover (and presumably taste) some of Italy’s most important wines. Cheers!
Giovanni was very helpful and friendly, scenery and surroundings were absolutely beautiful, Farmhouse updated for modern convenience but still so quaint and genuine. A wine cork remover was delivered promptly after we called Giovannie and requested one.
As we arrived late in May the weather was cold, windly and damp and we were dismayed that there was no heat available in the unit. The unit was somewhat smelly and we detected that it came from the dishwashing machine. We did not use it. Not sure if it is malfunctining but dishes in cupboard looked very spotty and streaked. We felt the floor tiles could have been a little cleaner also.
A very nice and clean place. I didn't like that a place was market on your site with a picture of the pool, however that thing was not in use. My kinds, actually all kinds that week were quite disappointed. It would be fair to note on your site when the pool gets in function. We don't have a problem with cold water here in Holland.
Everything!!! Giovanni is a delight and his customer service skills are exemplary. We had only booked a few nights and, on arrival, regretted that we could not spend many more! What a great experience of the Tuscan life. We went shopping in the local towns and cooked up feasts using the freshest and tastiest of Italian ingredients, whilst sipping on Giovanni's locally produced vino. Wow! We would love to go back and spend more time!! It is a little difficult to find, as most modern GPS' don't always include the smaller country lanes. However, Giovanni's directions over the phone meant that we were able to find it. If required, Giovanni was even happy to meet us in the local town so that we could follow him back.
the felling is amazing, the view over the house is fantastique, as you read in a book of Toscany very close to the train station around 25 mn to Florence wine country hum , no wine glasses in the house , so we bought some and left them there
This was the perfect relaxing environment for a family. It provided the opportunity for activities for the kids while the adults could relax on the terrace with a bottle of wine. The villa was a superb accommodation for the cost! We were provided with many recommendations from the owners to make our stay run smoothly ie. take train into Florence, grocery store locations, restaurant suggestions & winery hours. Giovanni worked well with the adults and the children in our group. Our family HIGHLY recommends staying here!
