My partners and I decided we would purchase a home and furnish it just for folks coming to vacation in Albuquerque. We had such a good response that we have since purchased two other homes in the same town house community (listing #'s 180129 and 203791). New Mexico is such a great place to live that we were excited to share to others. Thanks for checking out our properties!
Robert Klumpp purchased this townhome in 2006
We had a demanding list of requirements: - We wanted a home that was convenient to some of the best that Albuquerque has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and museums. - The home had to be convenient to get to (close to the Interstate). - The home had to be in a friendly neighborhood that was quiet and safe. - The floor plan had to provide easy access and sufficient privacy. The Pueblo del Norte town house community perfectly filled all these requirements.
My partner Jana is a great decorator. She has created some marvelous living spaces. The pictures tell the story. Plus, since the home is within walking distance to some of Albuquerque's best restaurants, a great winery and a Starbucks, what more could I ask for?
The property was in an excellent location to Old Town and highway access. It was furnished with the basics, comfortable for 3 people. The neighborhood was great, clean, nice neighbors and the parking spaces were not a problem even though we were there during a peak tourist time, Balloon Fiesta.
The house is lovely. Lots of space, quiet and safe neighborhood, parking for large cars 50 feet away. It's about 5 minutes from Old Town by walk. Plenty of space for 6 people - highly recommended indeed.
The 2 condos in the same complex were perfect for our 4 couples. They were conviently located, very well equiped, and had comfortable furnishings. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed for a month and it was a lovely place. Well maintained and it had everything we needed and was a short walk to Old Town with lots of great food and museums especially for our young girls.
This is a great place to stay.
The house served us well. We liked the location near museums/zoo/botanical gardens, etc. It also allowed easy freeway access to various other community activities. The house was comfortable and allowed grandpa some privacy, yet ability to interact well with the next two generations. Only caveat, if you have a low clearance vehicle, getting in and out of the garage can be very tricky. We ended up parking in the outside parking areas.
The home was clean, comfortable, in a super location. Decorating is nice and modern. The layout worked so well. The rooms are generously sized, both bathrooms are en suite, which was great for us 2 couples. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home, which was great also. The patio is great for the smoker. Robert, the owner, is great to work with, replying promptly to my random questions. This place is just about right across the street from Old Town ABQ. We enjoyed the Snake Museum and the High Noon Restaurant quite a lot. Love that green chile stew! We also had fun at the Candy Lady, who made all the "blue meth" for Breaking Bad. You should stay here if you can. You can't do better!
Ski: Take the scenic Sandia Peak Tramway (the world's longest; about 10 miles away) and ride to the top of Sandia peak for a day of great family skiing. --- Want more? --- Ski Sante Fe (about an hour's drive), visit Taos, Angel Fire or Red River (about 3 hours north) or Ski Apache (about 2 hours south). New Mexico offers some of the best skiing in the country, but don't tell anyone, we like to keep it a secret!
