East Side of GNP
The Casella's - Sheila, Vicki and Bonnie - purchased the property in 2015 after spending a lot of time in Montana and falling in love with the state. Sheila is Vicki & Bonnie's mother and grandmother to their combined 5 children. Our group of 11 has fallen in love with Duck Lake and all that Glacier National Park has to offer. We recently decided we should share this experience with others when we are not able to use the property ourselves.

Perfect getaway spot with prime access to Glacier N.P.
Just got back from a hiking trip with a group of friends. We stayed five nights in this cabin and in Duck Lake Loft next door and had an awesome time exploring Glacier and trying the different restaurants in the area. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. The cabin is a little remote, but it's worth the effort to get there. I'm so glad we found this place! I'm hoping we can return soon.
Brian, Thank you for the review and we are thrilled you enjoyed our place and the area.
Michael’s cabin was absolutely amazing!! The views were breathtaking. No wifi, but that was no issue whatsoever. Between the Wii, records, kayaking, sitting on the back deck watching the sunset and stars, etc. there was plenty to keep us entertained after visiting Glacier National Park. Place was sparkling clean. Kitchen was fully equipped - we cooked dinner one night. Michael was such a gracious and generous host and communication with him was a breeze. Highly recommend Michael’s place!!
Natalie, Thank you for the review. We are happy you had such a nice time. We hope you make it back to GNP again.
Relaxing stay at Valhalla View
We stayed 2 nights in this lovely little home with a great views. We were able to let our children kayak for the first time and enjoyed being unplugged for a few days! Road was a little rough but the home made up for it! Did not see any bears but there were tracks down by the lake. Owners provided a lovely little welcome gift of local beer and jam. I also ordered me so Nellie's washing powder because I loved it so much!
Dana, we are happy you and your family had such a nice time. Thank you for leaving the place so clean and tidy.
Fantastic stay and just what our family was looking for. Highly recommend!!
Thanks for the review. Joseph and family. So happy you guys had a great stay.
Wonderful cabin to unplug and enjoy Glacier National Park
This property was the perfect balance of being remote yet easy driving distance to three of Glacier Nat Park entrances. The online pictures do not do it justice. The views from the back deck looking across the lake with the mountains in the background was splendid. The cabin had plenty of space, was very well furnished, and ideal for a large family. The kitchen was stocked with many of the basics you need to cook full meals. The cabin did not have internet or cell service so we enjoyed the record player, huge DVD selection, and fun kayacks and paddle boards. We saw a bear driving in our first night and a fox one afternoon! We loved our stay and I would highly recommend it as a wonderful location to enjoy Glacier National Park.
Addison, thank you for the review. As our first ever guests at Valhalla View we are thrilled that you enjoyed the space as much as we do. Thank you!
