The Casa Niños experience is nothing short of amazing and spectacular. I went with a friend for a 4 day weekend just to get away from the daily grind. With 3 floors and multiple bedrooms (plus a gorgeous rooftop patio), there was plenty of private and communal space. The entire property itself was private and secure yet was accessible to both the main road and the beach (mere steps).
For our first day we stayed local, planned our excursions through Felipe, and enjoyed the local fare and amenities (restaurants, beach, downtown culture).
We went zip lining on the 2nd day (8am departure; 4pm return). I highly recommend it. Zip line through the lush vegetation across the bay and finish with a tequila tour on the way down. That night we ventured into Viejo Vallarta for a nice dinner and to explore the night life (great time for the 21-35 crowd). Taxi ride is not long at all and very reasonable.
On our 3rd day we headed up north to Sayulita for casual day of surfing and fish tacos. Beautiful little town and worth an exploration.
The 4th day was marked for a cross bay/island hopping snorkel tour. Very enjoyable. Again ~4pm return time. The evening was reserved for a very nice Bucerias restaurant.
Day 5 (departure day) began with breakfast at Karen's, continued with some midday beach time, and ended with relaxation time on the rooftop palapa, a great place to spend any down time.
Casa Niños was accessible to anything and everything. The property was tip top. The service (Felipe) was top notch, as he always checked in on us and the property and made sure that we had anything we could ever want or need. The local/area distractions and fare was superb. Overall, the vacation experience was exactly what was needed. I highly recommend this property. A+
We really enjoyed our time at Casa Ninos We loved everything about Bucerias &Casa Ninos the view from the upstairs palapa is amazing it was very comfortable clean well and maintained hope to go back soon
Thanks to jeff
We really enjoyed our time at Casa Ninos. Felipe had gone shopping for food before we arrived and we cooked breakfast each morning in the kitchen. We
loved spending time on the palapa (3rd floor) reading and watching the sunsets and even saw whales on our last evening. We went to the pool in the afternoons
to cool off and walked the beach in the mornings. Location is excellent.
The main restaurants such as Karen's were excellent, but we also found some
a litte more out of the way that we enjoyed including Tuscano Mio and a small
place advertising fish tacos called El Rincon de Ensada.
We hope to return next year.
We love everything about Casa Ninos. We just returned from our third stay at this property and hope to stay there again in 2014. Ana, the housekeeper, makes sure the house is spotless for your arrival. The house feels like home away from home and not a typical rental house. We eat breakfast and lunch at the house and go to one of the great restaurants for dinner. If we are not down at the beach in the late afternoons, we are up relaxing on the palapa. We have taken some amazing photos of the sunsets with the palm trees in the background. This year we had the pleasure of seeing friendly iguanas around the property. We think there are at least 4 different ones.
A bonus to renting Casa Ninos is the property manager, Felipe. He checks in frequently to make sure you're doing okay but he's not intrusive. He will go out of his way to help with anything you need.
Each year it gets harder and harder for us to leave Bucerias and Casa Ninos.
We have stayed at Casa Ninos in 2010 and again in 2012. We hope to go back again in 2013. Although I have never met Jeff and MIchele (the owners), we felt like we were renting from friends. They answer emails quickly and I have talked to Michele on the phone numerous times and she always had time to answer all of my questions.
We have rented other houses in Bucerias and Casa Ninos is by far our favorite. We love everything about this house and property. From the minute you walk in the front door you feel like you are "home." The house is steps away from the pool and beach and the views from the upstairs palapa are amazing. The owners have made sure that the house is equipped with everything you will need while you are there. I think you could go a week without doing dishes and still have clean plates, silverware, and glassware. I also love that there is an abundance of towels in each room. The house is clean and comfortable.
Felipe, the manager, is the best. Our first year staying at the house he even met us at the airport and secured a taxi for us. He is always available if we have any questions and checks in with us to make sure everything is going well.
Casa Ninos is the best!
We spent a week in this charming 3 story Mexican villa. The location is amazing. It is right on the beach with access to a private pool but private enough for even the most discreet visitor.
The beach views are amazing, surpassed only by the sunset views from the palapa. We walked up the beach for dinner and back thru the charming cobblestone roads back home.
We hope to go back every other year. The owners were very accomadating and the property manager was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. A wonderful wonderful visit!
