You’ll feel completely at ease in this mountain home, where deer regularly walk past your window and the woodland trail starts at your front door. Skiers walk down the street and straight onto the slopes; in other seasons, the same route provides an energizing hike for everyone! Unwind in a spacious hot tub and gaze through the skylight at the stars. In summer, open the adjoining door to a screened-in porch for access to a patio bar set and electric grill. For those with minds on the big game, the wall-mount TV in the master bedroom swivels for viewing in the hot tub! This end-unit mountain retreat is tailored for your convenience. An automatic wood pellet fireplace warms you and your gloves on a brisk winter day. Even your evening entertainment is provided by games for all ages and movies ranging from Scooby Doo to Schwarzenegger. And you’ll be able to tell your friends and family all about it, thanks to the wireless Internet and the free long distance!

This place is a fantastic stay with all the amenities you could ever need. It allows for a big family dinner, but maintains enough space that you can go off on your own to be by yourself.
The fireplace, hot tub, and porch area offer relaxing places where you can unwind after a long day on the slopes.
Jack frost is extremely close and is a great mountain to learn on, but also has some more challenging courses. If you want to ski during the night big boulder is only a few more minutes away.
A full functioning wawa is also fairly close.
Bob is a great owner and tenant and does everything he can to help out his renters. I did not have any problems but judging from the attention he gave my questions while going through the renting process I have full confidence that he would have resolved any issues I may have had.
Great place, great owner, will rent again.
Had wonderful time. Would definetly stay again, very comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Loved the comfort and coziness. Fully stocked with all kitchen items.needed and bath essentials, in case you forgot something. Only wish they supplied towels and sheets, it was more to pack than we wished to.
Everything was clean and just as described. We were there in the summer and there were lots of things to do. Swimming in the lake or hiking to Boulder Field at Hickory Run State Park, mini-golf, swimming in the pool at the private swim club, or just hanging out in the hot tub at the house.
Property is very nice! Very comfy beds and attractive furniture. Well kept. We really enjoyed our stay here and the owner was extremely nice to deal with. Hot tub was an awesome bonus. I'd stay here again if we ever get the chance to.
My wife and I really wanted to like this place - and Bob seemed like a great host who was very responsive and had a lot of experience with guests.
Having said that however, there were a few major problems with our stay. First - we arrived on new year's eve hoping to pop open a bottle of champagne and soak in the hot tub... But the unit's heat was turned off - and it was up to us to heat it up again. The unit was a balmy 45 degrees and it took us 7 hours to warm up to 70. We spent the night in our coats and huddled under blankets...
And the hot tub was another disappointment. We opened it up and the water was brown like the color of tea !?! We pointed this out to Bob and he said there's a heavy iron content in the water and that a technician could come out and fix it... At $200 a night - these are things I shouldn't have to worry about. What hotel makes you wait around while someone drains your tub and refills it - and who was going to come out on new year's eve?
Lastly - we got hit with a major storm and had to cancel a day early or get caught in the storm for our trip home. Knowing that we were unhappy with the stay - and that we wouldn't be using the unit - you'd figure he'd come through and refund the last night to make amends - but you'd have figured wrong. Bob told us no one controls the weather!
I worked in hospitality for over 10 years in 4 different hotels - and if any of those things happened to one of our guests - we'd be using the magic "C" word before our guests did... That "C" word is Comp...
We gave Bob a week and a half to look into the hot-tub fiasco, but at this point he deserves this rating. He should also have his housekeepers clean the unit right before a guest checks in and turn the heat on for them as a courtesy.
