The apartment was clean and comfortable and with two teenage boys the free wifi was a god send. Everything we needed was there, and nothing was too much trouble for Anne, when we asked questions before we went. The location was just perfect for us, who was looking for a quiet tranquil holiday to really unwind in. The main harbour and hustle and bustle not too far away so if you wanted to go out for the evening then quite a simple walk down the harbour wall. With three local restaurant right on site we didn't feel it was necessary to venture too far and with a small shop too it had everything that you needed feed yourselves at home if you wanted. Anne was brilliant she emailed when she had sent anything to let us know to expect a letter and always replied to any query we had however obscure. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wanted a trip to the south it's a beautiful part of the country with lots of history to go and see and clean well looked after beaches to spend the day on. We found many restaurants that we like to eat in, the gorges were definitely activity to visit..
Only one suggestion: a visitor book that anyone who stays could make suggestion of places to visit or restaurants that they would recommend.
We stayed for a week in this lovely property in late August 2015. We're a family of four, with two primary school aged children and the property exactly suited our needs. We were looking for a quiet location with a pool, near to the beach and the water park and within walking distance of shops and restaurants (we didn't want the hassle of hiring a car for just a week) and this apartment ticked all those boxes.
The lovely beach is great for kids, clean and a 15 min (max) walk away. It was never jammed packed, but was well patrolled by the lifeguards and had a lovely beach bar and restaurant to watch the world go by from. Aqualand for the kids was only a 15 min walk away too.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped (with the added luxury of two bathrooms). The two balconies offered lovely views of the marina and as mentioned in a previous review allowed a nice through breeze on the hot days. The kids loved watching the boats go in and out of a morning whilst eating their breakfast. The pool was well maintained and clean and again never busy. The kids loved their afternoons practising their swimming (note - no ball games or large inflatables are allowed in the pool, but we went to the beach for these activities, so wasn't too much an inconvenience).
Next door the commercial centre fulfilled all our needs (supermarket, bakery, butchers, takeaways, beach shop and wine by the litre!). It was even open on Sundays, making it incredibly convenient.
We didn't travel any further afield, but contemplated using the local bus (1 EUR journeys) for a trip into St Cyprien Village, but just didn't find the time!
Ann was a delightful host, and we thank her very much for letting us have the use of her apartment for a memorable family holiday.
We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It is in a great location with lovely views of the port from both balconies. The commercial centre is so close by and has everything you need. It is a real home from home

Nous avons apprécier la vue sur la marina lors de nos repas pris sur la terrasse. Un petit centre commercial (à 5 minutes à pied) propose tous dont vous pouvez avoir besoin (boulanger, poissonnerie, boucher, petit supermarché, légumes frais, bar et restaurants). La piscine est très propre et agréable, la plage la plus proche est à 20 minutes à pied. Parking et accès sécurisés, puis location très calme.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!
Very nice and spacious apartment located in a marina St. Cyprien port. Everything matches perfectly to the description! The owners are lovely!
We enjoyed the view during all our meals taken on the terrace. A small shopping center (5 minutes walk) offers all you may need (baker, fishmonger, butcher, small supermarket, fresh vegetables, bar and restaurants). The swimming pool is very clean and nice, the nearest beach 20 minutes to walk. All very quiet and parking with secured access.
We will return with great pleasure!
We have just spent 2 fabulous weeks in this wonderful apartment. Having a balcony either end of the apartment is great because you could get a wonderful breeze coming through ,which was lovely when it was really hot (which it was). We only had one really cloudy day. There is a little shopping complex on site where you can get newspapers, food shopping and your daily pan au chocolate. There are also restaurants and two take-away pizza places that serve the best pizzas ever. Also there is a footpath that will take you around the whole marina, lovely for a morning stroll. Lots of places to visit without going too far. The apartment complex is very safe, having keys to the car park and to your apartment block. The entrance hall and stairs are very clean and smell lovely and fresh. We loved this place and would definitely like to come back. It is only 20 km from Perpignan International Airport with direct Ryanair flights from UK also 1 hour from Gerona Airport in Spain also with Ryanair flights from Ireland and UK, and 2 hours from major Airports at Montpellier, Toulouse Carcassonne and Barcelona in Spain

There is no additional charge for cleaning during July /August. There is a cleaning charge of 30 GBP for stays of one week duration outside of these months. Sheets and towels can be hired at a charge of £10 per person for a set of sheets and two towels, one large one small. Off season rental rates are negotiable
I require a deposit of £150 to secure the dates on booking in advance. This deposit will also be held as a security deposit and will be refundable after your stay once all is in order with the apartment. Full payment will be made five weeks before your stay and letting contracts will be exchanged.
