The location is very nice, quiet in the very old village with the sea all around, instead of the true church, ships holds. then the beaches and the port close to shops, restaurants

Bright apartment, great harbor and mountain view, large balcony, perfect location. Fantastic!

We stayed 10 days in August in this lovely bright apartment and we were very happy with it. We had a great time there.


The apartment is perfectly located. The street is quite, the house is close to the water. You can walk to the Arenal-beach and to the harbour. Porto Colom is a beautiful place and the apartment is in a lovely old-style living area. No tourist groups. It is like you live there for the time being. Very relaxing atmosphere. You can reach many nice places by car within 20 minutes (Cala Sa Nau, Cala Anguila, Monestary San Salvador). There was a parking spot directly in front of the house, which we could use.

Appartment inside:

Kitchen: There was much more equipment then we expected. Everything worked, everything was clean. Very nice dishes. We cooked several times and made a lot of ice in the large refridgerator.

Living room: Spacious, the large glas front to the balkony is just great. You can open it widely to connect the room with the balcony. We enjoyed it to having it open in the morning. The air condition worked fine even during the very hot days.

Sleeping room / Bath room: We slept very good in the bed and in the last days we enjoyed the open window at night with a breeze. Bath was fine too.

Balcony: This was the highlight of the apartment for us. It is huge, with several sun chairs and a big table. You can sit there easily with 10 people. We spend hours every day sitting there in the morning and evening, enjoying the sundown over the mountains. The curtains worked fine for sun protection.

Sun roof: It is the entire roof. Often we enjoyed the view of the harbor and used it for our daily yoga. Just great. You can dry your cloths and towels there. And with the sun curtain you can also stay for siesta there. Relaxing zone with many cushions. We loved it.

Communication: Sylvie was very helpful. She answered always fast and gave us all the needed information and helpful directions. We were sure to have a nice vacation in the apartment. When we arrived Maria, a local agent, gave us the key and showed us the apartment. Also she offered her help during our stay – but we did not need it. Still it gave us a good feeling.

For us it was the perfect apartment at the perfect location with very friendly landlords. What can you ask more? We had a dream vacation there and we would come back every time. So we recommend it to everybody without hesitation. Many thanks to you, Sylvie.
