Welcome to the Miner’s Cabin. This house was originally located in Granite, MT., the old mining town/ghost town located a few miles away. The cabin was brought down to the town of Philipsburg by two brothers who ran the local livery stables located in the large white barn across the street. In 2018 the house was remodeled and parts of the original log structure were restored. The house was also updated with new wiring and plumbing.
This cozy cabin includes a kitchen, living room with a full sized pull out couch, bedroom with queen-sized bed, sleeping loft with two sleeping mats, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen contains dishes, flatware, glasses and cookware along with a stove and refrigerator. This is the perfect place for a couple or family looking to explore the region and enjoy Philipsburg. The Miner's Cabin is located a short 5-minute walk from the historic downtown.
The Miner's Cabin will eventually part of a duplex. Please be mindful that the second unit is still under construction, and therefore we ask that you steer clear of the construction debris and the back/ side yards. We apologize for any inconvenience this may pose and appreciate your willingness to stay at the cabin despite the ongoing construction.
