Loved the place!

  • 4 of 5

Loved the place!! Scarborough Beach is a gem and the house was only a quick 5-minute walk away. The rooms were cozy, the house well maintained and well-stocked and the owner quick to answer any questions we had. The vacation was Amazing! I would definitely rent this house again.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Great property walking distance of just two blocks to the beach. Also very close to all Narragansett restaurants. Perfect size with good size bedrooms and very clean. Nice backyard too with grill allowed for good BBQ after the beach.

Scarborough beach duplex

  • 4 of 5

The proximity to the beach is a major asset, as parking at all of the state beaches can be expensive and crowded. The owner was also very accessible and easy to deal with, and overall we found the description accurate. The place is very basic, with no extras, but at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that the building is a duplex, with shared access to a tiny yard and picnic area and the two entrance doors are adjacent to each other. If both units are occupied at the same time, noise can be a problem.

Lovely and Spacious House

  • 5 of 5

House was so roomy and clean. Everything we needed was there just like home. It was a huge house, 2 minute walk to the beach, nice neighborhood, family friendly place to be.

We mostly chilled at the house, lot's of cook outs in the back yard, picnic tables.

Owner is so lovely to chat with and easy to rent from. We will be back again for more awesome waves in 2011 !!!

Thanks again !!!! :-)

Hugs,

Lisa & Brian

Great for Large Family Rent both sides

  • 4 of 5

We just returned from renting both sides of this house with my parents, sisters family and her in laws. All together there were 10 of us. 3 children (19 mo.-12 years old). It was very clean, all tile floors on the main level. The bathrooms were large. The only downfall was the small yard with kids and Angell rd. can be a little busy in terms of letting your kids bike ride by themselves. It was great to have 2 refridgerators, washer/dryers etc, We ate in almost all meals....My 12 year old couldn't hook up his playstation so he was bummed but the weather was so nice it wasn't needed anyway. All in all it was a great vacation. We hated to leave. We have stayed in 6 different homes over the last 6 years and this one was the cleanest....nothing sceevy!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our week stay at Scarborough beach was relaxing and fun. There are many things to do within a few miles from our house rental. Beach was just a 2 minute walk and very clean. I've rented 2 years so far and loved it. We even took the ferry over to Block Island for the day. Loved it! Rental price is very reasonable also.
