Roast marshmallows in the firepit or just relax in the hammock and watch the creek go by. You will truly enjoy your mountain experience in this luxury cabin.
This is not your 'Typical Cabin'. The furnishings are 5 Star. You will not see a piece of sheet rock on the walls. The entire cabin is filled with hand peeled floors, slate, granite, and wood walls. We have a website that offers more photos of the entire cabin and its surroundings. Give us a call...
Our family could not have been more pleased with the first class amenities and overall comfort of this cabin. It has something for everybody. It is tastefully decorated and fun. Great thought apparently has been put into all the extra touches. If you have well behaved dogs (especially labs) they will be in absolute heaven here, as ours were.
The surrounding area is filled with activities from shopping to whitewater rafting and everything in between, we had a blast and hope to return one day to finish what we didn't get to.
Good fishing on the Toccoa. Fishing at the cabin would best be done by floating or boat due to deep holes and limited bank access.
"Pickin in the Park" at Horseshoe Park in McCayesville was one of our favorites, but the Blue Ridge Train and day trip to Dahlonega were also must do's.
Whether quiet and relaxing or non stop action and adventure, if you don't have a good time here it will be your own fault. Two thumbs and all paws up on this one.
We stayed for three nights in October to enjoy the fall scenery. We enjoyed everything about this cabin. It was so nicely decorated, had very nice furniture, and a lot to enjoy. The master bed was THE best! Kitchen was great! Owners are very accessible and very helpful. I would love to visit again and stay a little longer.
My Family and I stayed at the cabin and had just a wonderful time. The creek was perfect for my 7 year old and 2 year old sons. They played on the shore and also would wander out on to the rocks, and loved it.
The cabin it self was quite, cozy, clean and very relaxing.
The screened in porch was my favorite early in the morning having coffee listening to the creek while everyone else slept in, and at night having a nice cozy fire with a glass of wine while listening to the sounds of nature.
The game room was a hit for my kids, my son and husband became really good at pool while at the cabin.
With the city of BlueRidge close by, we did Gem Mining, Putt Putt Golf and Zip Lining.
I would recommend the cabin for any family looking for a nice relaxing time.
Beautiful, Fun, Relaxing... Our time at the cabin was just what we needed and expected. A beautiful tucked away cabin that was just as pretty as a picture. Fun time with the family by the creek; cooking or playing pool. The cabin is well equipped with all the amenities needed. The cabin is well decorated and extremely cozy. Few little snags in the plan, like a tree on the road, but Kay was on top of it - asap!!! We were always able to reach her with any questions or concerns. Thank you Kay - We just love Georgia; sincerely your friends from NYC!!!
This cabin was absolutely wonderful. Had all of the amenities, everything you need is on hand, plenty of activities to occupy your time, and the location is great. The only recommendation I could suggest would be the addition of a larger couch upstairs, or possibly a sectional. Loved every moment of it though!!!
We really enjoyed the property. It is tucked off main road which was great. Kids enjoyed the pool table and air hockey. My wife and i enjoyed spending time on the screened porch with a wood burning fireplace. Master bed upstairs was super comfortable. Fightingtown Creek was gorgeous. My son spent all day fishing even though he only got 1 bite. (Trout don't bite in winter). He even stayed in an hour after he ran out of bait. Just enjoyed casting. WiFi worked well. We will come back in the spring/summer/fall when conditions are better for fishing.
Blue Ridge, Georgia is a quaint town full of shops and restaurants. This is also a great area to enjoy the outdoor activities. Some of the many activities in the area include; hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, taking a ride on the scenic railway, fishing and tubing. There are multiple natural waterfalls in the area as well.
