Surrounded by a golf course ( renters receive discounted green fees ) within a secure, tranquil, private estate, a part of which is designed by Francois Spoerry, the architect who created Port Grimaud in the 1960’s. This modern Provencal villa, built in 2000, is set on a hill with spectacular views over the bay of St Raphael to the front and the Maures mountains to the rear. A large communal 25 metre swimming pool and children’s pool together with three tennis courts are all within 150 metres.

This pretty villa has its own private garden with west facing terrace and balcony ensuring magnificent sun rises and shaded long summer evenings.

The living area briefly comprises of a large open plan kitchen, dining lounge area with access to the terrace and garden through French windows. Three bedrooms are upstairs, one large double with balcony, one twin with en suite shower room, and one room with bunk beds. Downstairs the master bedroom with large double bed and en suite bathroom has French windows leading onto the terrace.

Notes:
The rear garden is a10mx10m lawned area surrounded by mature shrubs and hedges to give privacy yet still provide a magnificent view. Sun loungers are for your use. The pool is free to use from 9.00am until 8.00pm each day. A shower, changing room and toilet is situated near the pool. There is plenty of shade around the childrens pool. The 3 tennis courts are free to use and can be booked on an hourly basis.

Incredibly relaxing week!

Great hilltop location with an unbeatable view from the Med, over Frejus and all the way up to the mountains. The villa was spacious and well-equipped and having a lawn at the rear, where we could chill out when we didn't feel like going to the pool, was a real bonus. The pool area was also uncrowded, despite it being peak August season, and we never had a problem finding empty sunloungers - at times we were the only people in the pool!

Wonderful holidays

We spent a beautiful week in the villa. It´s a calm "domaine" where you can enjoy the lifetime. The tennis courts and the swimming pool are in very good conditions and my family(2 children) enjoyed it very much.

The surrounding with St. Tropez, St. Maxime, etc. is beautiful. So you can do a lot of things based of this charming villa.

Exceeded all expectations!

We had to submit a review after a brilliant holiday here. The photos really do not do it justice! We were a party of four adults and four children and it fulfilled our every need.

The property was spacious enough for us all, the kitchen was well kitted out and the garden was beautiful, especially for wine at the end of a busy day. Sheena was always available via email and the only problem we had with the toilet was dealt with quickly. There are lots of books and leaflets with ideas on what to do and it really is a home from home. It was very clean, well maintained and kitted out for your every need, even tennis rackets!

The advice to close the shutters is worth following, as despite temperatures of late 30's, it kept the house cool and was refreshing when coming back mid afternoon.

A car is an absolute must to appreicate the surroundings. Roquebrune is a short drive away and there is a hypermarket which is just amazing, only about a 10 minute drive away, which puts Tescos to shame.

We took a boat trip to St Tropez from St Maxime, visited Nice, the amazing Lac de Saint Croix, the beautiful beaches at Frejus. If you get up early enough you can get to the beach and park nearby.

The Aquapark is a brilliant day out but it is worth buying the voucher from the hypermarket to avoid the queues to get in.

The pool was huge and was never over busy, despite us going in peak season. Only complaint was that the kids weren't allowed to play with anything in the pool which made it a bit harder to entertain them.

Loved the fact that the baguette man would come every morning and got fresh bread without going shopping.

At the bottom of the road is Chateau de Roquebrune, a vineyard which has wine testing at 5.30pm on a Friday and definitely worth a visit, although you will have to drive as it is a good few miles from the villa to the actual vineyard. Definite must however.

I would without doubt recommend this property to someone else, it was in a fantastic spot, quiet but near to a lot of attractions and we could have done with three weeks there instead or two. The view overlooking Roquebrune and Frejus from the property is amazing!

We look forward to returning.

Looking for a dream holiday?

Everything in the description of the property was accurate.

I would recommend this property to everyone.

It is the perfect place to relax, to sun, to swim, to enjoy the view & silence.

You can easily drive to the sea side our to other villages.

To our family (with 3 children) it has been one of the best holidays.

And we will be back for sure.

Villa, golf du roquebrune

Just back from our holiday in France. The villa was really perfect for us two families. Everything OK, and no complains, in fact even better than expected. The view is fantastic, just as the standard of furniture and equipments. The resort itself is safe, quite and facilities as pool and tennis courts were very well looked after. Weather was sunny and warm every day. We are already talking of coming back - there was so much to do and discover in the area. One week is absolutely not enough

Roquebrune sur Argens, only 10 minutes drive away, is a one thousand year old Provencal town. Enjoy a walk through the medieval streets up to the 16th century parish church.

Situated in the South Eastern part of the Var, its neighbours include St. Raphael, Frejus, Le Muy, Puget sur Argens and Ste Maxime.

St. Tropez and Cannes are both only a 30 minute drive, in the off season, but regular boat sailings operate from Les Issambres and Ste Maxime, to St Tropez all year.

Enjoy the local Provencal markets at Roquebrune and Ste Maxime.

TGV runs to Frejus where there is also a motor rail terminal. Nice Cote d’Azur airport is less than an hour away along the A8 autoroute.

Some of France’s best rosé can be found here and with the local domaine less than 5 minutes away wine tasting could not be easier.

The 18 hole Golf du Roquebrune course is a 10 minute walk to the club house and renters receive a discounted green fee. There are several other courses nearby.

Skiing in the Southern Alps is just 2 hours away
