Lovely, Charming Home

  • 5 of 5

My family, along with some friends, enjoyed a week on Sagamore Beach at this charming home. It was clean, quiet, safe, and incredibly relaxing. Since the property sits at the end of the street, I had no worries about my young toddler playing outside in the large side and backyards. A great environment for families since there's very little car traffic!

The home has rooms and beds of all sizes - very accommodating for a large group. The downstairs living areas are spacious and inviting for family dinners and games.

The walk to the beach was only minutes away, and it was so convenient walking back and forth throughout the day and week. This may not be important to everyone, but the outdoor shower on the side of the house was really nice to clean off and cool down after a long, hot day on the beach.

Everything operated smoothly during our stay and having access to a large washer and dryer were a huge plus. Two major groceries stores were within close driving distance, and it was easy traveling to and from other parts of the Cape.

Definitely recommend this home and look forward to many more stays in the future!

Our daughter was getting married in Plymouth and we were looking for a house that was large enough to accommodate our family and some out of state relatives. We found the right place !!! We had all the bridesmaids there the morning of the wedding for hairdressing and make-up. The large kitchen and dinning rooms were perfect for ALL the activity. The wrap around porch with plenty of seating was an added bonus as was the large yard. The wedding was just perfect and the day after we hosted, with Jenn's blessings, a brunch for about 30 people and again the house and porch were ideal. We were blessed with wonderful weather for the next several days after the wedding and were able to take full advantage to the short walk to the public beach where we had a lot of fun on the large raft anchored a short swim/walk off the beach.

The house is a historic gem with an intriguing history captured in a family scrapbook. The furniture was comfortable but we spent most of our time on the porch or on the beach. The beds were comfortable with AC in all the 2nd floor bedrooms. The 3rd floor bedrooms did not have AC but cooled down nicely with the ocean breezes. Jenn was very helpful and accommodating with our check in needs related to the wedding.

All of our guests enjoyed their stay and the brunch lasted longer than originally planned because everyone was so relaxed having a great time on the porch and in the yard. Finding the house was a little challenging because Mayflower Road is not connected end to end but we found it as did our family and friends. We would definitely recommend this house and have hopes to return. Thank you Jenn, you were a great hostess.

Peace, Rest & Fulfillment.

  • 5 of 5

We joined 4 other families for a week at this great home. It is a home. You can feel it when you walk through the door. We had plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor amenities were extensive. A short walk to the beach which offered the ability for long walks and a floating dock for the kids to dive in. They have all the beach gear you need. This is a true red carpet experience. Just need to show up and start receiving the needed rest. We are looking forward to next year.

Amazing property right next to the beach!

  • 5 of 5

The Property was very nice, large, well maintained, and clean. I loved the nice large front and backyard. It felt secluded, but only within walking distance from the beach. Also, very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and a nice playground for the kids. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway to the Cape!

Second time back even better than the first!

  • 5 of 5

I can not say enough about this amazing property. We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we came back again this summer. We didn't want to leave! It is so comfortable and homey, and is stocked with everything you could need. We are a large group, and the home accommodates us beautifully with two dishwashers, plenty of towels, and lots of beds to sleep in. The house is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our favorite part about it is the wrap-around porch with plenty of rocking chairs for everyone. The fire pit in the gazebo is a close second. Our favorite part about the location is how close it is to the beach. We spent the majority of our days on the beach, so it was convenient to have it so close. The owners are lovely to deal with and eager to please. We will be coming back next summer for sure!

Quintessential Cape Cod Summer Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from our most memorable Cape Cod vacation in Sagamore Beach. This house has all the charm, history, character and amenities you could want in a Cape house. From the fire pit in the gazebo, to the wrap around deck, the outdoor shower, the large updated kitchen, all the historical photos and furniture - this house has all the comfort you would want yet combines rich historical elements in a tasteful way.

We ran multiple AC units throughout the week, I think 5 and power was fine with no shortages, which for an older house is surprising. The two dishwashers in the kitchen made cleanup a snap with our 10 adults and 5 children. The fridge had plenty of space to store all our food. But this house is all about location for me. To be able to walk down to the beach at any time, in a matter of a couple minutes was such a treat. The sunrise was beautiful, the calm waters perfect for young children, it was just a wonderful family spot.

We definitely plan to go back again, this was our second year staying. The owner was very helpful in accommodating our requests and working with us to provide an excellent vacation. A few places we loved to visit that I'd recommend: The Beachcomber restaurant in Wellfleet, park at White Crest Beach and ride the Funk Bus over - it's a blast! Taking the ferry to Martha's Vineyard out of Woods Hole is a must do, even for the day it's an easy trip, about 2 hours to get onto the island. The Knob in Falmouth is a beautiful nature preserve to see the sunset at, it's magical.

All in all though, just walking down to Sagamore Beach and the breeze in the mornings and night were enough for my vacation, all the rest was just icing on the cake.
