The flat was very clean and well equipped for our stay in Marseille. Not far from city center and very close to Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Beautiful spot in a beautiful neighbourhood
Comfortable apartment, lovely view.
Good neighbourhood, felt very safe. Great pizza just downstairs around the corner.
The apartment was very attractively decorated and new. It was a pleasure to be in. Nice couch. Comfortable mattress. Well supplied kitchen. I wish I could have enjoyed the balcony more but the heat was too intense. Mornings and late evenings it was cooler and the windows let in lovely views and good light. It was great to have full shutters and air conditioning for the hotter hours. I loved hearing doves each morning. There were busy streets nearby and sometimes the traffic noise from motorcycles was quite loud. All in all, a lovely spot. (PS... note... lots of stairs. Be prepared)
Nice stay in Marseille
The apartment was clean, bright and airy. It is located on the second floor of a building situated in bustling district accessed only by an old spiral staircase, which isn't easy to navigate with big bags or suitcases. The weather was very hot during our stay, and while there was air conditioning in the kitchen/living area, there wasn't any directly in the bedroom, and it wasn't easy to sleep.
Comfortable space with a wonderful balcony.
Brigitte was really great in our communications back and forth in ensuring we had everything we needed. She provided a great package to help find various food and activities.
The place is very comfortable and well appointed with all of the comforts of home.
The high point for us was the narrow balcony, which afforded wonderful views and a place to sit and watch the changing skyline while sipping wine and eating the delightful foods of this region.
Great ending to our time in France
The BBHome in Marseille was lovely. It is bright and clean & well appointed. Wish we had a longer visit in Marseille. The apartment is located in a great area convenient to the sights we wanted to see. And the Italian restaurant right around the corner did have the BEST pizza. Thanks for your hospitality.

To cross the Old Port, try our mythical "Ferry Boat"
It was June 3, 1880 that the ferry boat made its first crossing between the Quai d'honor of the Mayor and the Quai de Rive Neuve. This crossing 283 meters is the smallest sea link to the world!
It is also on the Old Port that are installed shipping companies offering excursions to admire the creeks of Marseille. Guided tours in the heart of creeks and islands between Marseille and Cassis (archipelago of Friuli, Riou ...), a must-ride that offers an exceptional view of the
cliffs plunging into turquoise water.
Furthermore, from April to October, maritime shuttles RTM link the Old Port at Pointe Rouge Estaque.
