This 50 m2 studio is perfect for one person or a couple.
It is very centrally located right on Constituyentes Avenue, just across the street from the park. From the studio you can walk to the most important museum area in Mexico City. The famous Anthropological museum, the Modern Art, Rufino Tamayo and Natural History museum are all within walking distance. Located in the picturesque neighborhood of San Miguel Chapultepec, this studio is a real oasis in the city. As soon as you walk in the garden and hear the water falling form the fountain you feel far away from the busy street. The studio, located on the 3rd floor, is spacious and full of light. It has big windows on two of the walls with nothing but greenery outside. Double glass on the windows reduces the noise from the street. It has a fully equipped kitchenette with electrical stove, mini refrigerator and all the utensils you might need. The studio has a beautiful private bathroom. Linens are provided and changed weekly.
Raúl Díaz. Retired, 70 year old architect, very kind and helpful. Loves his city and likes to welcome and introduce people to it. He has travelled the world over and knows what travellers are looking for. He will do everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one.
Mariana Diaz purchased this studio in 1976
I live in this place. I know it is very centrally located and like to share it with people visiting the city. My family has lived here for over 40 years and it has an unbeatable location. My children and grand children come often to enjoy the garden.
Four days' stay in Studio Chapultepec were just right for an introduction to the museums in the park. My introduction to Mexico DF as well.I was thrilled to find that dogs are not allowed in the park, making my walks there so much more peaceful. And now I can tell my friends and relatives that my neighbor in Mexico DF was the president of the country, as well. Apparently he lives near here.Yes I will recommend Studio Chapultepec if I meet anyone interested in visiting Mexico DF (or the president of Mexico)
Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. Our visit was too short. However it was also very pleasant. The studio, the park, your interesting family, all together made for a perfect visit. I enjoyed the book on Chapultepec Park and stayed up late reading.
Muchisimas gracias por todo
I spent 11 wonderful days at Studio Chapultepec and couldn't have had a better base for my stay in Mexico City. The studio had all the amenities I wanted (as described on the website) and was kept spotlessly clean throughout my stay. Although the beds are technically sofabeds, they have very good quality mattresses and I found them extremely comfortable (far better than many hotel beds I've slept in). I loved being up on the third floor, looking into the trees outside, and it was wonderful to come home at the end of a full and stimulating day and step into the cool green garden. Raul Diaz was a charming host, offering lots of practical advice, but also lots of interesting insights into the history and personalities of Mexico City. As others have mentioned, he kindly lent me several interesting art books, which complemented perfectly the visits to art galleries and museums I made during the day. I also loved San Miguel Chapultepec, which is a relaxed leafy residential neighbourhood, yet only a ten minute metro ride away from the historic centre of the city. The only downside for me was the noise of traffic from the busy road outside (particularly the lorries at night), but that didn't stop me feeling relaxed and at peace in the studio - and it wouldn't stop me returning. In fact, I can't imagine staying anywhere else on my next visit! Muchas gracias por todo y espero volver muy pronto!
We stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to Mexico City and it was perfect! Close to the subways, conveniently situated for shops and restaurants and Chapultepec park is right across the street. It was wonderful to come home to such a peaceful, relaxing oasis after the hustle and bustle of this great city. Will definitely stay here again next time. Thank You Mariana and Sr. Raul for such a welcoming stay!
This is a wonderful apartment and I would have no hesitation staying here again if we returned to Mexico City. The location of the apartment is ideal, a 10 minute walk to the Metro stop, a 15 minute walk to Condessa ( in our opinion one of the most beautiful and authentic neighbourhood in MC ) and easy access to taxis from the other side of the Green Park Hotel located next door. The apartment is very comfortable and quite spacious, very clean and well maintained, as is the property the apartment is located in. A great place to return to after big days in and around Mexico City. The apartment was one thing, but Raul, the owner of the property helped make our stay in MC extra special. Raul is one of the most gracious and charming men we have had the pleasure to meet in our many stays in private rentals. When we arrived he took the time to show us maps and guides and give us information that made our stay in MC easier and so much more enjoyable. We even had the pleasure of joining Raul one night for a wine tasting evening and had the pleasure to meet his daughter and son in law at their shop which sells beautiful imported textiles in a lovely enclave of MC. I hope you have the chance to visit the shop and the area. It was a highlight of our stay in MC. Thanks so much Raul.
It's a lovely well equipped studio apartment in a beautifully designed property. I think elegance is a proper word. From the greeting to the accommodations (thank you so much for the espresso coffee) and the neighbourhood, right across from the park. It is cleaned daily and the wifi works well. There's a top class hotel next door if fine dining is what you prefer, and great taco and torta stands in nearby streets. From the studio I easily toured many neighbourhoods: Polanco, Roma, Condesa and San Miguel. And some of the best museums are in Chapultepec Park which is just across the street. The only warning is that you are on the fourth floor, as someone said, it's like being in a tree house.
My wife and I lived in the studio for a little over three months and enjoyed it very much. The description of the property as well as the conditions of rent are accurately portrayed in the website, and we found everything to be very clean and well managed. The owners provided excellent service, in fact going beyond excellent to help us make some special arrangements. The location is perfect, in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood next to the beautiful Chapultepec Park, within walking distance of exciting Condesa and two metro stops from ritzy Polanco. A downside for some may be the stairs of 59 steps leading up to the flat -- we in fact found that to be good exercise. As well, there is nighttime noise from transport trucks but we were able to tune that out for the most part. All in all, we give it five stars and are booking again for a few months next year.
In the heart of Mexico City. Very centrally located, just in front Chapultepec Park.
