Nestled amongst the pine trees, up on the mountain, is this cosy, recently renovated and re-furnished cabin. This tranquil setting is perfect for a couple or small family that wants to get away from it all.
The cabin is open plan, with a double bed, small dining table and kitchenette that has all basic amenities. All of the linen is 100% cotton, and the décor is natural and elegant.
There is a loft area where two children or one adult can sleep comfortably. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, and there is a deck chair outside where you can relax and enjoy the sea views.
The cabin is on a property with the main house, which is right next to the green belt of Kommetjie. The beach is also a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk away.
Kommetjie is a village on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula. With around 3000 residents, it has a peaceful rural atmosphere, which most residents wish to maintain. We are friendly and hospitable, but at the same time we fiercely defend our right to determine the pace and nature of our village. This is done in an open and transparent manner and all residents are invited to participate democratically.
Most of the residents know one another and we support local ventures where possible and when reasonable.
