This authentic 18th century riad, a residence for nobles during the time of the Pashas, is laid out around an open-air central courtyard and a finely crafted walkway that opens off onto the different rooms, in the true Moroccan fashion.
Although it was restored using traditional techniques and materials, the decor is resolutely modern, creating a warm and Zen-like atmosphere where guests can feel perfectly at home.
The courtyard is the heart of the riad, an area of leisure with its basin/pool (3 x 5 m) and interior garden, which are magnificently illuminated in the evening. The riad also has a:
• Dining room
• Living room
• Hammam in marble and tadelakt
• Sauna and massage room
• Various areas with sofas for relaxing
The ten bedrooms each have their own ensuite shower or bathroom:
• Six double bedrooms (queen-size beds)
• A bedroom for 3 people
• Two bedrooms for 4 (90 cm beds)
• A bedroom for 5 (90 cm beds)
The rooftop is beautifully arranged. It has a splendid view overlooking all of the Medina, the Koutoubia and the snow-covered peaks of the Atlas Mountains:
• Jacuzzi for 4
• Bar, barbecue and dining table
• Berber tent
Household linen, kitchen and bath towels are provided. The beds are freshly made. A daily cleaning service is included in the rental, as is a complete house cleaning upon departure. You’ll also have some surprises in store to welcome you: you’ll find toiletries in the bathrooms and a little gourmet gift basket in the kitchen. Additional services are available on demand when you reserve.
A rental contract must be signed before arrival.
