This is as good as it gets in the Pacific Northwest. This cozy cabin on the edge of Hood Canal's shore boasts panoramic views of spectacular sunsets, snow-capped Olympic peaks and abundant wildlife.

this is a great little cottage, perfect for two. the unit has everything to make are stay comfortable.
This place is just neat and cozy. Every little thing has been provided and the bed and other furnishings are comfortable and well made. Great kitchen! The place is small but the amazing deck (which is directly over the water at high tide) is almost as large as the cottage and the perfect place to begin and end the day. Beautiful Olympic views/sunsets. We saw seals, herons, and at low tide, plenty of oysters (for those with a permit).
If you're aware beforehand that Hood Canal cabins by the water are usually built close together in groups, you will really like this one-we did!
This small cabin get away was perfect for my husband and me. We spent most of our time out on the deck overlooking Hood Canal. We loved being right on the water and watching the coming and going of the tides. The only drawback was that the grill uses charcoal rather than propane. We opted not to grill. However that is a personal preference. I know many people prefer charcoal over propane. Senen and Greg were wonderfully responsive. While we were there the refrigerator died, but that very day Greg went out, bought a new fridge, and installed it. Thanks for a great stay!
Spent a week away at this great Hood Canal "hideout". Cozy and comfortable, the views of the mountains and waterfront deck, made this week a memorable one. Looking forward to another stay in the future.
We stayed only one of the two nights we had booked. The cabin is clean and as described, however, it had a funky smell. The photography is somewhat creative in that it doesn't give you a feel for how tiny the place is. Ok for two people, but forget about any sort of space. The cabin is right next to a rotting trailer, wedged between two other cabins, with not a lot of space in-between. There is no way to walk anywhere: the road, although not busy, is winding with no shoulder and not conducive to a stroll. Beyond the road, there is a sheer slope.
We had our dog with us, and just getting her some exercise was difficult.
The beach is lovely, but again, you walk maybe a few feet before you hit the next cabin - at high tide there is no beach at all. For any amenities, a drive to Belfair is in order.
Overall, we would not stay there again. For the same price, we had true jewels of cabins in the same area.
We are so happy that we chose this cabin for our vacation. Weather was perfect and water was right in front of the cabin. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, pots, pans, spices, knives, bbq grill, extra pillows, blankets, chairs, so many dvds, wi-fi, row boat, towels, first aid kit, etc. Oyster heaven!
Quiet and beautiful. We kept saying that this cabin is hidden gem and we're so happy to be here!
Thank you so much Gerg and Senen. We will send our friends here and we will come back soon!!!
