About the property

Cottage, 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps 7-8 (6 adults max)

Chalet Pic-Bois is a four-bedroom mountain cottage nestled on a wooded mountain side in the Mont Tremblant region. You'll feel you're in the middle of nature, surrounded only by trees and mountain views.

A perfect location...

Despite its very private location, the chalet is close to many activities. Reach the Tremblant ski slopes in just 7 minutes.

A well kept secret at the end of the road...

The Chalet Pic-Bois also has a little-known secret: at the end of the dead-end road is a secondary entrance into the Mont-Tremblant nature park, the largest nature park in Quebec.

You can hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski or trail bike directly from the chalet without having to take a car!

Inside, a warm and cozy atmosphere...

Sit, relax and enjoy the warmth of a wood construction, in front of the fire and breathtaking views. Or enjoy the summer surrounded by nature on the large deck.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Merci pour tout! Notre semaine de vacances était très agréable (malgré la pluie).

Tout est tellement beau et paisible autour de chez vous que ça nous fait beaucoup de bien. Et le chalet était très confortable!

Clean rustic Chalet close to Tremblant

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four booked this chalet over March break 2016 to ski Tremblant for the week. The chalet was exactly as described on VRBO and certainly has that rustic feel. It was absolutely perfect for our trip. Everything about the place was great. The woodstove was really nice to have after a cold day of skiing. Lots of wood provided by the owners. The chalet was very clean and nicely decorated. There were lots of supplies and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. The chalet slept 8 so the 4 of us had plenty of sleeping options. The dryer was well used to get our ski clothes dry after one rainy day of spring skiing. It was situated in the hills only a short drive from the north side of Mont Tremblant. We felt privileged to have stayed here and would definitely do it again. Peter and Barbara from Kingston Ont.

Beautiful location, private and peaceful but close to other activities.

We had a great weekend. The cottage had everything we needed and plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 kids. We loved snowshoeing with the snowshoes that were there and the kids loved playing outside.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in January with my wife and 2 friends. We arrived around 600 pm. The last hour or so of the drive in is a somewhat hilly mountainous drive. It was already very dark so we didn't really get to enjoy the scenery coming in and we may have even missed the house number sign and overshot the chalet by a driveway or 2. Lol. The driveway might be challenging with 2 wheel drive in the winter but it was recently plowed before our arrival and we had no problem in 4wd.

The chalet has a great log cabin look and feel to it immediately as you drive up, and was very nice, warm and clean once inside. It was very cold out but we felt no need to even light the wood stove and most every room had its own thermostat.

My wife and I stayed in the main floor bedroom and woke to beautiful views and a snow covered mountain accross the road without even getting out of bed. Bedrooms were clean and all bedding was supplied.

The kitchen was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.

The dining/living area was open concept and spacious with big windows and great views!!

There was only one bathroom with a stand up shower but it was clean, spacious and towels were supplied.

Outside was completely silent. Any time we were out we never heard a sound.

The next day we chose to drive to the South side of Mont Tremblent to snowboard which was about a 20 minute or so scenic drive. The North side is less than 10 minutes but has no Gondola or village!! A hot tub outside after a day on the slopes would be a great addition someday?!!, but the chalet was warm and we could have lit a fire if we wanted. The wood stove and surrounding brick work is also very nice!!

I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone and will definitely stay here again!! Great value for the dollar!!

A perfect hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

We spent March Break 2014 here and LOVED every moment of it! We spent 5 days skiing (and loved being only 10 minutes from the North side - such a quick drive to start our day on the hill!) and would come home and the kids would play outside with our dog until supper time. We'd sit around the fire and play games and watch movies in the evening. It was a wonderful retreat from real life!

Bon séjour passé au mont tremblant

  • 4 of 5

Le chalet est très bien placé pour visiter la région du mont tremblant l'été.

Le chalet est assez bien équipé, et propre. Par contre la chambre du bas avait une désagréable odeur d'humidité.
