My home is close to the City Hall, the Old Port Market. Enjoy my accommodation to the location in the old town and atmosphere. This 2-room of 32 m2 is perfect for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and small families (with children). The apartment (fully equipped, a bedroom, living room with sofa bed) is located in a pedestrian street, plus it is 15 minutes walk from the station.
The beautifully decorated apartment has a bedroom with a double bed (140) and a living room with a sofa bed: sheets are provided as well as tablecloths, towels, towels and tea towel.
The kitchen is equipped with hob, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. The dining table is provided for 4.
The living room has a TV and a WiFi connection.
The shower room has a hair dryer and a radiator for towels
An iron is available.
Costs 30 € we can add a baby kit: bed, bath and high chair.
Cleaning is the responsibility of the renter or can be supported on the basis of a fee of € 50.
Access for travelers: The apartment is on the 3rd floor without elevator, a bike or stroller is available on the ground floor
Exchanges with travelers: a person welcomes you and advises you on arrival (no impersonal home "digicode") this contact will be given for any concern or special request.

The accommodation is situated in the heart of the old town, 2 steps of City Hall, 250 m from the old port and 200 m from the market. We offer an optional tour of the city on request. Many varied restaurants are open all year. The market is open every day and is ideal for seafood, there are also organic products.
The apartment is 15 minutes walk from the station: however we can provide transportation station / Accommodation for 15 Euros or transport Airport / Accommodation for 20 Euros. The old town is very walkable tour, there are also bikes in the city (Yélo) information Place de Verdun. For free parking cars on the streets of 9H to 19H and a great day for parking (fee) Place de Verdun free or a little further to the Chemin des Remparts. Avis opposite the station for car rentals. We particularly appreciate the restaurant's 4 Sergeants, 49 Rue St Jean du Perot (05 46 41 35 80) and a little chic with special decor. Close to the apartment simpler but very good restaurant Le Temple: 9 Rue de la Ferte (05 46 41 15 04). On the harbor, a little apart, the restaurant Le Valin: 37 Quai Valin (05 46 41 72 84), good tables upstairs and amabilité.Une special mention to the Aquarium restaurant has a view panoramic la Rochelle! Finally gourmands will find everything they want at the market (also good for breakfast in the many coffee)!

We have 3 favorite neighborhoods out: Cloutiers the street behind the market, wine bars and good restaurants, the Saint Nicolas district, rue Saint Nicolas with great animation, young enough, the Street of Templars, pub and bars with terrace for all ages.
Tourist attractions :
Featured in La Rochelle: the old port and its towers: the Tour de la Lanterne and Tour St. Nicolas is visiting and you can have a coffee in the Tour de la Chaine. All surrounding streets are places where you can stroll and discover places like detours instead of City Hall and the Cloister of the White Ladies ... see, of course, the Aquarium of La Rochelle, then a little further the Navy Museum (visit the Boats) which is reached along a pier old wooden sailboats. It is also the largest port des Minimes that you can reach by shuttle boat from the Vieux Port.
Parks and nature
Close to the city center you can find calm in the Charruyer Park and your steps will take you to the little beach of Competition, there beautiful promenade along the sea and back into the beautiful avenue lined Mail ' mansions. Another walk from Minimes: Stela Marris driveway along the coast and in following the entire length of the beach Roux. For a nice stroll between sea and land, take inter-island cruise in the old port to visit the Aix island in the day (pedestrian island) with passage in front of the famous Fort Boyard!For bike rides, the ideal is to reach the island of Ré (The Seagulls bus from the station or the Place de Verdun) and the pretty port of Saint Martin borrow 80 km of pistes cycling (bike hire locally).
Art and culture:
Many museums are in La Rochelle, those preferred (north to south): The Museum of Natural History, 28 Rue Albert 1er, plus beautiful gardens, the Museum of Fine Arts 28 Rue Gargoulleau , the Museum of the new world, close to the apartment: 10 Rue Fleuriau, Bunker Museum, very original and 2 steps of the apartment: 8 Rue des Dames, the Museum of Automata in the new quarters: 14 Street Desiree, and the already mentioned maritime museum. La Rochelle is also a city very pleasant shopping malls and streets between arcade: Street of Mercers, Rue Saint-Yon, Rue du Palais, Rue du Temple. Beware most shops are closed on Sundays ...

Entertainment and activities
La Rochelle was an important asset = 2 multi-screen cinemas in the city center, you can walk there, a harbor, a place of Verdun (and a drink at the Café de la Paix, unavoidable) .And the harbor yachts offer various ballads at sea.
