Testimonial 1: Dear Rick,

Wow! The 'Blueberry Patch' is amazing! We had a fantastic time. The kitchen is THE best we have ever cooked in - top rate - gourmet - perfect in every way. Everything we ever dreamed of was here. The house was so clean and we really appreciated the beautiful sheets and towels. This has been our best family vacation yet. Thanks so much for everything. We will be back!!!

Testimonial 2: Rick,

Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations. It is an awesome place. We never enjoyed cooking in such style and everything you could possibly need is right here for you. Our family had the best vacation on the Cape ever. Your house and gardens are simply gorgeous. I love your decor. It was just so peaceful to sit outside and enjoy the views. The children enjoyed the play area and we all had so much fun in the beautiful pool. We were so impressed with the welcome basket and flowers. You have made this a very special vacation!

Testimonial 3: Rick,

Quite simply a marvelous vacation home. Excellent amenities, superb layout, and wonderful location. We've been to the Cape 6 times now and this is the nicest of all the homes we've stayed in. From the pool to the music, from the patio to the colorful flowers... truly a relaxing home away from home. We plan to stay here again in the very near future. Thank you so much!

About Rick Fisher

Retired executive from Cigna. I grew up summers on the Cape and always wanted to return. After 12 city transfers criss-crossing the US, it was time to settle in beautiful East Orleans. I know you will enjoy this property in the most sought after area on the Cape.

Rick Fisher purchased this house in 2006

Why Rick Fisher chose East Orleans

The 'Blueberry Patch' is a combination of the main house, carriage house and pool. The long secluded driveway is a perfect place for the children to safely ride their bikes and do chalk drawings. Very nice place

  • 5 of 5

We had a large family group for a very nice week. The large kitchen gathering area and separate house made it nice for some of the group to split off and join in at will. Pool made it real nice to come back to after walks on the beach. Killer kitchen and nice gas fire pit area.

All Wants and Needs Take Care of!

  • 5 of 5

This property is Exceptional! The bedrooms, the kitchen (and pantry), dinning area, the outdoor space, pool, guest house all were of the highest quality. Our large family enjoyed our time together - we did not need/want for a thing! Everything for our vacation was at our fingertips - adding tremendously to the pleasure of our stay together. The location was perfect for quick trips to the beaches and an easy walk to Sundae School - the best ice cream! Thank you Rick for your property graciousness and hospitality! We will be back!

As good as it gets!

  • 5 of 5

it doesn't get any better. The house and property are beautifully maintained and beyond equipped-so nice not to haul our linens, beach chairs or umbrellas from home. We enjoy the beautiful lawns for bocci and the kids to play. Rick, the owner, is amiable, helpful and knowledgeable if you need anything else. The beach is close enough to bike or return home if needed during your day. The bay is 5 minutes in the other direction. The heated pool provides another diversion for our busy grandchildren while we recharge our batteries. The restaurant-style kitchen inspires a little dabbling for our gourmet chefs. This is our second year here and we all look forward to coming back next year.

Great Family Vacation at the Blueberry Patch!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic week here. This was our first real vacation as a young family and it was the perfect house and location to enjoy the Cape and entertain friends and family. The house is just minutes from the 2 best beaches on the Cape - Nauset and Skaket – and there are many shopping options from Stop & Shop to the luxury boutiques of Main Street in Chatham.

We had tons of room to spread out and we loved the amazing chef's kitchen. The house comes equipped with every amenity and supply you could need right down to enough paper towels for a week with a messy toddler. It was great to not worry about packing the car with coolers and beach chairs!! You can tell that Rick takes great pride in the house when you take time to notice all of the little details – we had so much fun looking through all of the old books, just wish we had more time to read them all! The sound system was awesome, we really enjoyed being able to have music playing in the background of our vacation!

We look forward to staying here again!

Perfect family time!

  • 5 of 5

Blueberry Patch was the perfect home base for our stay on the Cape. Our four children really enjoyed the pool - which provided the perfect break from the days spent at the beach, biking, and exploring the area. The location was ideal...being a 5 minute drive to both Nauset and also the bay beaches. The kitchen area was an obvious highlight...all restaurant grade stoves, grills, sinks...truly amazing - which made cooking fun!

We were well looked after by our host Rick - who constantly checked in with us during our stay to make sure that everything was fine. Thank you Rick. We will be planning a return trip to the Blueberry patch.
