This is a perfect location from which to easily explore the city, close to all forms of transit (metro, bus and taxi). It is an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.

'We are just home last night from our wonderful week in Paris. Your apartment is wonderful and was perfect for us. We can't say enough how much we enjoyed your place. We loved the instruction book with the pictures, the decor, the washer/dryer, the location, and the personal touches. The kitchen was well supplied and easy to work in. The nice bathroom and shower were also a plus. And, we couldn't believe how quiet the neighborhood was!! We will definitely be back and we also will recommend your place to friends and family Our experience was outstanding. Thank you so much.'
We love this apartment and know that you will enjoy it just as we do when in Paris.
Enjoy Paris and the Yellow Flat.

Many years ago a young French woman had a dream about coming to America that wouldn't leave her mind. Little did she realize that she would settle in the San Francisco Bay Area. Years later she and her husband Jules realized their dream when they purchased their 'pied a tere' in Paris, the Yellow Flat.
The Yellow Flat is our base when our family is fortunate enough stay in Paris and we are truly glad that our guests have felt the same. It is our home away from home and we take good care of it. We are sure you will agree that it is a special place.
Jules Kragen purchased this apartment in 2005
We love the access to the green open spaces of the large park, the Champ De Mars and the Seine. We love to walk in Paris and this is an ideal location. What a luxury to have Eiffel Tower and the Champ De Mars park in your evening stroll, whether in the afternoon or at midnight.
Easy transportation. You can get anywhere in Paris, or out, by metro, bus, RER or train from our flat. There are three metro lines at the closest metro station.
The busy day time atmosphere, the quite evenings and the view from the balcony.
Breakfast on the terrace.
Reading on the couch.
Gourmet shopping on Rue Lourmel and Rue Cler. Baked goods at Poilaine and cheese from Marie Cantal.
Exploring the neighborhood, finding new stores and interesting sights.
New restaurants and things to do all the time.
Just a quick note to thank you. We had a great time in Paris. The apartment was centrally located and we can walk to the Eiffel Tower! The place had just what we needed, including a balcony that was utilized almost every morning/evening when we are in. The restaurant list was very useful. We love Mansouri----and it's only two metro stops from the apartment.
I just want to mention "Fat Tire" Bike Tour in Versailles. Their headquarter in Paris is a 5 minutes walk from the apartment and they do a great bike tour. Everyone there speaks English and the tour is done in English. The tour takes you riding in the streets of Paris from their headquarter to the RER station. You then board your train to Versailles' open market to get stables for your picnic before riding the grounds. We had a great time and thought your guests might like it, too.
It was nice to work with you. Everything was so easy and I love the fact that you replied very quickly to any questions or concerns that we had. Thiery was great and very personable. Thank you, Rosine
My husband and I stayed at the Yellow Flat with our 11-year old daughter for a week in October. The apartment was just as billed -- perfectly appointed and maintained, very convenient in terms of Metro access, and located in a lovely, safe neighborhood of Paris. The owner and property manager both were responsive and incredibly helpful before and during our trip. We would recommend this apartment to all and hope to return quickly!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at YF! Great location in the city convenient to the metro system, neighborhood grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. Apartment is very well equipped, maintained and a pleasant respite from daily sightseeing. We’ll stay there on our next visit.
Our family stayed in the flat during our first visit to Paris. The location is perfect as it's just a couple of blocks to the Eiffel Tower and the Metro. It is located in a quiet residential area so there was very little street noise. The flat itself is very clean and well appointed with guide books, Metro Maps, and Paris tourist information. The kitchen has everything you could need for meal preparation and the market is very close by. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return soon!
My wife and I travel a bit and every now and then we like to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel. We tried the Yellow Flat and were more than pleased! It was like staying in a home, with all of the amenities and warmth you can imagine in an apartment in Paris. The kitchen is very modern and recently remodeled, the living room is adequate and the large windows make it seem so much larger! The bedroom and bath were good too. Overall, the location, the quiet but upscale neighborhood, and the close proximity to the Eiffel Tower, restaurants and metro made it a superb choice. We will return for sure! (we travel to Paris about once a year for a get-away!) Thank you, Jules for sharing your Yellow Flat with us.
We spent a wonderful week here as a family of 4 (including 14 and 18 year old girls) and this flat had everything we needed. For the American's reading this, the owners took great pains to make this sure we are comfortable and I truly mean that. You will feel like you are borrowing a friends flat because they thought of everything. The shower rivals any spa with all the hot water you need, the kitchen is updated, very functional and has EVERYTHING you need to make gourmet meals. Not that you will need to cook b/c the location is excellent with fabulous food just steps away. I felt completely safe allowing my daughters to explore the neighborhood and when we played tourist the Metro is only blocks away.
They have a local management team that has Nordstrom’s level customer service and a driver that will pick you up at the airport (take advantage of that, it’s worth every penny). We over packed with 4 huge suitcases and they had enough drawers and cabinet space to unpack everything . We will be back!!
The Yellow Flat is perfect: size (separate toilet room with sink, from shower room with sink made getting ready in the morning fast and easier), big windows, furnishings (lots of closets, good bed, comfortable couch, space to dine), exceptional kitchen (really!), and location (close to Motte Picquet metro, antique shops, UNESCO, terrific bakery, butcher and grocery store). But the excellent, helpful assistance of the local person (Kate) who met us at the Yellow Flat was really so terrific. When we got out of the car we realized that my husband had left his laptop 'somewhere' at the airport! It contained all his medications, including one that needed to be refrigerated. Kate stayed with us, made numerous calls, got us online and by near miracle the bag was located at CDG Lost and Found (with the laptop and all meds!). Kate and her boss Thierry arranged for a driver to bring the case to us - before the expiry of the medication. Astonishing level of cooperation!
