This spacious, modern apartment is located less than a 10 minute walk from Princes St, the Old Town and Castle. It has a large balcony and comes with a secure underground parking space. The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open-plan living room and a well equipped kitchen with large stove and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room in the hall with a washing machine.
4 of us considered this a good and clean location for the festival. Negative points were-futon beds were the hardest we have ever slept on so very uncomfortable.
The shelves in bedroom 2 were full of spare duvets and pillows therefore nowhere to put clothes other than the floor.
The oven 'tripped' the main fuse every time it was used and there was a leak into the cupboard under the kitchen sink.
No instruction manuels for anything-took 3 days to work out the micro wave.
Manager had to be contacted to remind him to send acknowledgment of deposit and balance payments. He met us as arranged and responded to the fuse problem but I texted and emailed this feedback to him and received no response. We would not stay here again.
Nice flat, very quiet at night despite being so close to the city centre. Lovely and clean. Good to have private parking. Only a few minutes walk to the Castle. Would stay there again.
Modern and homely with a lovely open plan space. Was real home from home. Spent the week with my parents and kids partly to catch up with relatives as Edinburgh is my parents home town. Relatives popped by to see us for a cuppa or to meet us before exploring and were amazed at the apartment. .so convenient to everything in the centre and with loads of amazing restaurants family were happy to come meet up close by to us. Had a lovely meal at Riccardos italian by the kings theatre and a large family group were looked after very well at the Links hotel. The owner met us as promised and extra bedding and towels were brought later, all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. And the cooker was a talking point, huge oven and 5 ring hob and decent knives (often lacking in self catering accommodation ). Thanks for a great week.
The flat was spacious and modern. Lot's of restaurants, co-ops and shops near by. Well secured property with below ground parking garage. Flat has a washing machine as well as all other necessary appliances. Only nitpick is the living room has futons instead couches, but not a big deal. All-in-all a very nice stay.
