We invite you to stay at our Hale Kamaole condo where you can enjoy a very well-maintained, spacious vacation getaway located right across the street from Kamaole III Beach, one of south Maui's best beaches.
Our 2 bedroom + loft unit sits on the top floor limiting noise from other guests and providing great views of the ocean and mountains from the private lanai. The condo has a vaulted cathedral-like ceiling, which provides for great natural light and a spacious airy feel. There is a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, a queen bed in the loft, and a king bed in the upstairs master bedroom, offering comfortable sleeping accommodations for 4-6 people. Both of the two full bathroooms - one downstairs and one upstairs – have been recently renovated offering a clean, modern style.
Our goal is to exceed our guests' expectations for a condo at our price point, so we continually update and improve the interior and put a great deal of thought and care into the amenities we purchase. In addition to remodeling the bathrooms, we have installed new tile floors in the entryway and kitchen and high-end carpet in the living room. The interior includes warm earth tones, updated artwork and a few new pieces of beautiful authentic Hawaiian furniture. A commercial-grade patio set provides comfort on the lanai and a full range of audio/video equipment (including HDTV programming and free wireless Internet) makes listening to music, watching TV and movies, and staying connected online easy for our guests.
The kitchen is fully stocked with a new microwave and range, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes, glassware, silverware and more. A washer and dryer are conveniently located on the main floor, and we provide our guests with beach towels and high-quality bath and bedroom linens. You also have access to Hale Kamaole’s two pools, large landscaped lawn, eight barbecue grills and tennis court.
The complex is located at the southern end of Kihei, just two miles from the Shops at Wailea, 15 minutes from four local golf courses, and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Kamaole III beach (across the street) is an excellent place for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, body surfing, enjoying sunsets and whale watching.
We believe that ours is among the most well maintained and nicely furnished units in the Hale Kamaole complex and we hope you get a chance to enjoy it during your next Maui vacation!

Our father, Kenji, lived in Maui for many years enjoying the relaxing lifestyle of snorkeling, golfing, spending the afternoon at the beach, eating local delicacies and hosting his family for unforgettable vacations. Kenji is no longer with us, but we are so happy to be able to share his condo and the experience of a Maui vacation with guests throughout the year. Our two families also love our annual trips, which have become a welcome tradition. We have loved watching our children explore the beach, become avid snorkelers, learn to hula dance, and relish the evening sunsets. We loved your condo! It worked out really well for our family. We took alot of recommendations on restaurants, etc from your book. We loved Sansei, Nick's Fishmarket and Ferraro's ~ amazing! It was a truly memorable vacation.
My wife and I visited Maui with my parents and brother and stayed at this condo for eight nights. We absolutely loved this property - it was large, clean, and had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. The property was well situated close to the numerous beaches in Kihei and Wailea, with easy access to roads connecting us to the rest of Maui. The condo was stocked with plenty of beach equipment, and in particular the boogie boards got a lot of use! While we enjoyed dining out in Maui, we also used the well-stocked kitchen to prepare a couple of meals at home. We would definitely return to this condo again in the future.
Sadly we have returned from our wonderful vacation in Maui, where this condo was our home base. It met our needs in every way. Comfortable beds, plenty of privacy but a nice living area and kitchen, plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and all of the extras. One of the best vacation decisions I made for sure.
We had a great vacation at Michelle's condo! All was exactly as her pictures presented. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children under six years. The layout and accommodation was awesome...quiet, except for the noise off the parking area that backed on to the master bedroom. Just neighbouring renters who weren't thinking late at night. Although we shopped for most of our groceries before we arrived in Kihei, we were hoping that the condo fridge and cupboards would have some staples. Did they ever! We were glad that we checked first. Proximity to the beach was awesome and the pools very convenient. Unfortunately the pool water was so cold that the little ones had trouble getting in. This area of South Kihei Rd is the best...lots of amenities and yet close to the Wailea area too. When we realized how late our departure was, Michelle was able to generously allow us a later check out. We would definitely consider coming back to this property!
I would highly recommend this condo. It was quiet, centrally located, close to the beach and came with all the essentials for the beach. Parking was very close and people were very friendly in the complex.
The condo was clean, comfortable and very homely. We would say there again in the future. It is so close to the beach and a quiet complex.
My family has stayed at the Hale Kamaole for years now. The views, location, casual but quiet atmosphere and ease of getting around has made it our home away from home.
This year, we had the pleasure of spending a week in this unit and I'm so happy we found it. The view is fantastic on this side of the complex because the full sunset is visable. From the deck you can also see both pools, all of the grounds, the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The pictures posted are 100% accurate.
The interior of the condo is very comfortable and clean with the 2 bedrooms (both of which has beautiful foliage views), the loft and enough seating in the public areas for a family of at least 4.
The kitchen is very well stocked with enough spices and condiments to cook good, quick meals. I always appreciate finding a cupboard that has at least some basics, and this kitchen was better than most. All appliances are new and easy to use.
Everything needed for a day at the beach can be found in the outdoor closet and the supply of beach towels is more than adequate.
All of my communication with the owner of this condo was excellent! I trusted her completely from the beginning and her responsiveness throughout our reservation and stay was much appreciated. I also found the on-site manager/maintainance staff to be wonderful, attentive and helpful.
Kamaole Beach III is right across the street. It's a very nice little cove with gentle waves to play in. Right next door is Kamaole II which is a large strip of beach that has the boogie boarder waves. A short drive south, is Keawakapu beach which is a hidden gem! A good size shady parking lot is across the street and the path to the beach is a very easy, short walk. It is the quintessential Hawaiian beach with a long curve of white sand, palm trees, and an peaceful, uncrowded ocean. A very short walk up the beach is the Mana Kai resort which rents paddle boards, kayaks...
The Mana Kai is also home to Maui Yoga Path, which has a yoga class every morning on the beach, as well as many in their ocean front studio. Their program is geared for beginners as well as experienced guests, and I found it to be a welcome discovery!
From start to finish our 2014 week in Maui was one of the best. The Hale Kamaole was a great as ever and I can't recommend this particular condo highly enough.
