About Michael or Cheryl

My story is our story. It's our faith. It's how the story flows." There is a time for everything. A season for every activity under Heaven." To everything, Turn. Turn. Turn ... the season... the pages. It's how we met. How we journeyed. How we loved. How we laughed. It's how we started our business 30 years ago coaching, mentoring, teaching, performing music and the dramatic arts. Training, inspiring, nurturing students to the drum beat of "TOUCHING LIFE THROUGH THE ARTS"

And now as we turn the page to a new chapter. One filled with excitement, fun, adventure, imagination, integrity, and authenticity. But most important it's a chapter about new beginnings, running the race, tasting the salt, illuminating the world .Let's join hands, flip pages, read, learn, share,

travel...walk with us. The story is not over, it's just not finished!

With love,

Michael and Cheryl

Girls' Trip

  • 5 of 5

My daughter, her best friend from Virginia, her mom, and I went on a high school graduation trip to celebrate the next chapter in life.

The condo was just gorgeous! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, well maintained and up to date in furnishings. Plenty of towels and linens. There were a couple of kayaks for our use in the bay behind the property, four bikes for 2 adults and 2 children, and best of all, a gas powered golf cart. We drove and walked all over Puerto Aventuras, getting lost in the beginning until we gained our bearings. The owners also graciously gave us use of their membership at The Omni where we spent many of our afternoons at the pool or on the beach. We took advantage of the 25% discount on meals there as well.

PA is its own self-contained gated community with lots of wonderful restaurants, shops, small grocery and liquor stores, a dolphin attraction, golf course, and tennis courts. We all enjoyed a spa day around the corner from the condo. It was fabulous!

We did venture out to Tulum to explore the ruins and took in some nightlife and shopping in Playa del Carmen. You never have to leave PA unless you want to, however. There's just so much to do!

Overall, it was a wonderful, memorable trip, and I would go back in a heartbeat!

A luxury condo in a quiet area.

  • 4 of 5

This 2 bedroom condo is beautifully furnished and very comfortable ( except the single beds in the guest room are very hard). It is in a quiet area of Puerto Adventuras. The condo overlooks the lagoon and is a pleasant view. The nearest beach is about a 10 min walk or short golf cart ride. This beach is almost totally occupied by the large Catalonia Resort and no shade is available. The main beach is fronted by the Omni Hotel and large condos but the beach is good for walking and swimming in front of the Omni. The Omni pass that the owners have allows use of the beach lounges and palapas for shade. There were plenty available when we were there in off season but must be in short supply in high season. The Omni is one mile from the condo, so is a very long walk, a bumpy cart ride or short taxi ride. Most of the restaurants are around the harbor near the Omni. The golf cart is poorly sprung (bumpy ride) and I would not recommend using it after dark.

The condo has kayaks available , but they sit at the bottom of steep rocky steps. An agile person could get in the kayaks with some help but getting out without help on the steps would be very hazardous.

Puerto Adventuras is a comfortable secure area. Lots of restaurant choices around the harbor. The area has hundreds of condos and 3 or 4 large resorts. There is very little open space and we were disappointed there are no nature trails to enjoy. The only walking is on roads or on the major beach.

Owner's Response: The reviewer’s stay was less than a week and perhaps did not have enough time to explore Aventuras, thoroughly. There are areas of natural walkways especially on newer developed areas. In this area there are trails, small Mayan ruins, a Crystal clear Caleta (body of water) that is stunning in its natural look. Many people snorkel there. We walk to the nearest beach quite often with a normal pace and is but 4 minutes. Many Times we kayak there as well and pull the kayaks up on the beach to the right. Immediately there are a couple of palapas one can use for shade which are not apart of a resort. Plus if you do walk across the Catalonia boardwalk there is a quaint beach area with nice shade and palm trees. If one decides to walk to the Omni Beach area, we suggest cutting through the Marina, which reduces the distance quite a bit. Not only is the walk shorter and great exercise, one gets to observe all the activities on the marina, sea life, boats, boutiques, restaurants, Dolphins, Seals and Manatees! Heck you might not even make it to the Omni...if you stop for gelato and watch the seal or dolphin trainers. But if you make it to the beach club it is pampered luxury in all seasons. Plus continue to the right along the beach and you will discover many palm trees for shade as well. We have countless positives on the golf cart and bikes. None ever mentioned bumpiness. However pay attention to both the designed speed bumps and topes (dips) marked in Spanish. If you are not aware even the slightest speed will definitely give you a bump.

Condo was well equipped and located in a fantastic gated community! Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at Bay Blue! We enjoyed biking,

taking the golf cart to dinner, and loved the Omni membership! The beaches were incredible. Close to many beautiful Cenotes, Tulum, and the grocery store. We are glad we rented a car to explore outside the community. I would highly recommend staying at this location! I would easily move to this charming neighborhood in a heartbeat!

Great place to kick back ...

  • 5 of 5

Puerto Aventuras was a great spot. The condo was lovely and more than efficient for our little

reunion. Excellent pool, great spot to relax under the palapa right outside the door.

Beautiful view of the bay and plenty of amenities at the Omni.

Great lobster and several restaurants within a few minutes golf cart ride.

Fun with the dolphins available to see all the time but my young grandson loved being in

the water with them. Easy drive from Cancun but crazy drivers and pedestrians.

Thanks for letting us use your beautiful venue to enjoy our time in Mexico.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

Great place- made our stay really easy and enjoyable. The place is super clean and has everything you need. We loved cooling off in the afternoons in the pool right outside the back door as well as using either the bikes or golf cart to get around town. Great spot to use as either a home base while traveling around the Yucatán or to just relax at a beautiful beach. Thank you!
