This lovely townhome lies in Castellon Cove, in the resort community of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, just a short stroll down a tree lined path, from the beautiful shores of Lake DeSoto. It features spacious and comfortable accommodations for up to four people in a 1300+ square foot, two story unit, with two bedrooms and two baths. A large deck off the dining area overlooks a beautiful forest arroyo and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty and fabulous weather we have here! The location on Troza Lane is ideal for those wanting lake access and short drive time to all Village amenities, including golf courses, fitness center, trail systems, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis center and 12 beautiful lakes! DeSoto Golf Course is cart distance away and the DeSoto Trail System is easy walking distance…..just a few hundred yards away. The DeSoto Trail follows the shoreline of Lake DeSoto and offers bikers, joggers and walking enthusiasts everything they could ask for...hard surface trails and the fabulous beauty of the Ouachita Forests. Along the way you may see deer, a red-tailed hawk, a turtle or two and lots of wildflowers. You may hear an owl and much conversation among birds in the canopy above. We are 'dog friendly' and we will warmly welcome your canine travel companion, providing he/she has good house manners. A small pet fee is required. Stay for a couple of nights, or a week or more……. you’ll be glad you came!

Hot Springs Village is America's largest gated community and is a wonderful place to vacation or live, with spectacular scenery, moderate climate, warm and friendly people, relaxed and casual lifestyle and some of the best golf, boating and recreational opportunities you’ll find anywhere! Hot Springs Village and neighboring Hot Springs (just 20 minutes away!), also offer great restaurants, live music/concerts, art galleries and events, botanical gardens, horse racing at Oaklawn, family fun at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls and lots of shopping!

Lake Ouachita State Park and Marina is just 20 minutes from the Village West Gate. The lake, dubbed “Arkansas’ Ocean”, is 50 miles long with over 200 islands for picnicing and relaxing…….. it is a vacation paradise for those who love boating and fishing, kayaking and scuba diving. See the wildlife and all the birds and glimpse "The Natural State" in all it's glory! In a nutshell... the Village and surrounding area is “the whole package”, a great vacation destination or lifestyle choice for retirees or an entire family!

About Jill Anderson

Greetings from Jim and Jill Anderson and Hot Springs Village! I am a retired real estate broker and Jim has been a general contractor for 30 years, building everything from golf resorts to custom homes in PA, CO and AR. During the 90's in Durango, CO, we owned and operated Country Sunshine Bed and Breakfast. We miss many things about Colorado... including the awesome beauty, but we don't miss the cold or the snow and the high prices!

Why Jill Anderson chose Arkansas

Today we are happily living the good life in Hot Springs Village. We decided on the Village after much on-line and in-person research. We wanted a beautiful spot, with low cost of living and lots of amenities that would be close to our children in Mississippi and Texas. We purchased Troza Lane in 2007 and lived here while we built our new home in the Village. Later, we decided to keep the townhome and make it available to friends and family who visit and occasional paying guests. We had so many requests for bookings that we decided in late 2009 to add our two guest apartments on Mano Way, to give us three vacation rentals and more exchange options. So, now we have something for everyone and since we love hosting people who come to the Village to explore, play and enjoy themselves, we are truly in our element…’s almost like the B&B, but without the Breakfast!

What makes this townhome unique

We furnish our units with comfortable furniture and quality bedding. They are all nicely decorated with things we love….a few “family” antiques, original art and momentos we have picked up on our many travels. We are dog friendly, knowing that since our two wonderful dogs are part of our family, your canine companions must be too! Come spend some time in the Village... play some golf, fish, hike, play tennis, swim, read and relax.... We look forward to making one of our vacation guest spaces your “home away from home”!

What a beautiful home and location. We had the most wonderful time and were SO comfortable in this property. It is well maintained and clean, well decorated and furnished for everyones comfort.

The description of this property was exactly right with the owner being helpful and prompt with all enquiries.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in heading down to Hot Springs Village. Although there are few restaurants in the area, we were still able to find options that were great. The lakes and golf courses are fantastic as is the beautiful tree lined main road running through the village. From this road is it hard to believe there are house hidden back beyond, which gives the area a very relaxing, out with nature kind of feeling.

Thanks for providing such a superb place to stay and hope to rent from you again in the future.

Very comfortable and peaceful

Super peaceful nice spot. Comfortable, with everything we needed. Even umbrellas by the door, and games in the closet. This deck is spectacular, and I could live in those hammock chairs.

Exceeded My Expectations!

My husband and I recently spent four nights in this property, and we couldn't have been happier with any other place! This property exceeded our expectations and was much nicer than the pictures showed it to be. Apparently the owners did some updating and remodeling after taking the photos that are posted, so we were very pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The condo was comfortable and perfectly equipped for all of our needs. Loved the "His & Her" bathrooms upstairs! ;) I felt so at home there, and I could have stayed so much longer! I definitely want to return to Hot Springs Village, and when I do, I'll absolutely be staying at this property again! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely, little condo! :)

We used to live in Little Rock Arkansas

Beautiful setting but Grumpy hosts

The townhouse is located in a quiet complex near Lake DeSoto. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was serene with the lake and green space view. The townhouse was dated yet comfortable (except for the very soft beds) The back deck was a relaxing place to sit and hang out. (be sure to bring mosquito spray in warm months) We spent several months at this location and found the owners hard to get along with. Repair requests were ignored (garbage disposal, porch light, stairway light, and internet) I replaced router and was reimbursed by owner.

Read contract carefully as there are no refunds, extra charges if you use second bedroom and they leave the credit card open for additional charges months after the end of the stay. We travel to the Hot Springs area regularly but we will not be staying here. The owners made it too difficult to enjoy.

The Home plate diner served great food and the casino and race track provided fun entertainment.

Owner's Response: We really did appreciate these long term, repeat guests for the consideration they showed for our property and for the immaculate way they left the unit, both times that they stayed. They were A+ guests! These guests brought up something in their review that we think is worth re-stating: It is very important to read both the description of the property AND the owner’s terms and conditions carefully before booking ANY property. Some examples referenced by our guests were the owners cancellation policy, extra person/bedroom charges and credit card authorizations. All of these items are clearly referenced in our description of the property and/or in our terms and are not “hidden” from prospective guests……. Cancellation Policy: We have a strict cancellation policy on all of our properties and we don’t offer refunds. But, for the protection of our guests, we do offer two types of travel insurance right on our booking site. Travel insurance is vitally important to consider when planning any kind of extended travel. We can in many instances offer an exchange of dates or a credit for monies paid, good toward a future stay, should our guests be required to alter their plans. This policy has helped us to keep our rates as low as possible. Second Bedroom Option: Unlike flat rate properties, we make the second bedroom optional. We offer lower rates to couples who will only use one bedroom. If the second bedroom isn’t required, we don’t have to clean it and our guests don’t have to pay for it. Credit Card Authorization: All of our reservations are processed on-line. During booking, our guests acknowledge that they are authorizing their card for re-billing after checkout for damages, lost keys and/or additional cleaning fees, should they be required. This allows us to eliminate taking a large damage deposit up-front. Regarding the maintenance issues that these guests mentioned…..they were resolved, but perhaps not in the timeliest fashion due to my husband's work schedule. These issues usually don’t come up with nightly rentals because we are in the unit often to check things out and we can fix things before our new guests check in. With extended stays it can sometimes be tricky to coordinate times to do the work that are convenient for all parties. Again, we do appreciate guests who treat our things like their own and leave the townhome in better condition than they found it. Thank you!

Great as always

There is no better place to stay in the village! Great price.....great people.... and such a nice rental. This our second time renting from Jill and we will be back in the Spring.
